Travis Tooke (For Squirrels) Ends Hiatus, to Release Solo CD
Former For Squirrels and Subrosa Guitarist/Singer to
Release Debut Solo CD on Indigo Planet Records
(Aberdeen,
NJ – August 13, 2007) Travis Tooke,
former founding member of Sony/Epic recording artists For Squirrels and Subrosa
will release his first solo CD on New Jersey-based Indigo Planet Records.
"Speaking
both as a fan, and a label, I cannot begin to say how excited I am to be
working with Travis," said label President Dave Kosciolek. "Many people, myself
included, have been wondering about Travis the last eight years. I'm happy to
say that he has never stopped writing music, and we are anxious for the world
to hear it."
The
CD, tentatively titled "Artichoke," is expected to be released in late 2007,
and will include material written by Travis between 2002 and 2005.
Pre-production has already begun on the 2nd CD, which will include
songs written since 2006.
