well, after 4 weeks solid work, the upgrade to GT Manager is done.

Go to www.bossgt3.co.uk to get the new version (you'll have to
uninstall the old one, but you won't lose the registration info).

* new menu style including icons

* patch display window is now sizeable (vertically)

* patch display window can now be scrolled using the mouse wheel (not
in Win95)

* basic navigation between patches using the keyboard is possible

* patch "boxes" in patch display window can now have colour and font
customised

* marker added to patch "boxes" to indicate patch has been changed

* drag-and-drop now supports move / copy / swap of patches

* can now drag-and-drop sysex files from windows explorer into GT
Manager

* registration backup & restore to floppy disk

* registration transfer to additional PCs (PC to PC MIDI connection
required)

* bulk transfer from PC to GT3/5/6 now shows progress information,
and allows cancel of transfer

* patch conversion information summary message box shown after patch
conversion

* converters for GT5 to GT6, GT6 to GT3, GT6 to GT5 and GT3 to GT5

* knobs and sliders in the editor can be adjusted using the mouse

* can now minimise the patch display window

* GT3 to GT6 conversion assigns 2 to 8 now convert correctly (were
duplicated from assign 1)

* GT5 to GT3 EQ parameter conversion is now correct

* OD/DS Drive control in GT6 mode now remains enabled (in GT3 mode it
remains correctly disabled)

* GT5 Harmonist info button now displayed when needed

* GT6 Auto-Riff info button now displayed when needed

* GT5 to GT3 conversion using assign to CE effect level is now correct

* GT5 to GT6 conversion using assign to TR/PN is now correct

* GT5 to GT6 conversion using assign to Loop level is now correct

* GT5 to GT6 conversion using assign to SP SW is now correct

* Editor GT5 DD now has effect & direct level controls; effect chain
displays correctly


Miscellaneous changes
