In association to my previous post. The Distortion + and the DOD 250
are same circuit with minor component differences.

Any suggestions as to how I could emulate the characteristics of this pedal utilizing the OD effect on the GT-3...

I think you don't. Because the one you want is a Distortion and OD is an overdrive which is a different clipping of the wave sound. Try using the distortion...

Use the overdrive, not the distortion. The MXR Distortion + is really a OD, when the distortion knob is turned clockwise it changes the harmonic tones it adds...
