Do you have a guitar amp that you can test your GT-3 with? If it works
there then the problem isn't w/ the GT-3 but your sound-card/recording
software.
My WAG would be that the input controls for your sound card have
the mic selected and not the line-in...but that is truly a WAG.
If it is your GT-3, first check the output meter to make sure sound is
making it to that point in the system. And also check where the output
dial on the back of the GT-3 is set. Should point towards the floor.
