Hello! I am back home from Colorado visiting my grandson, Nicholai and daughter-in-law, Sorsche. We had a great time! Went to the mall, to the zoo, visited a castle, and just got to know each other. Nicholai is adorable! We even had our pictures taken with our Pink Floyd shirts on; even if he did get fussy and then fall asleep! LOL! He is 8 weeks old on Thursday. While in Colorado, Jessica gave birth to little William. He is a cutie pie, too! Here are some pics of grandma's little angels. Hope you enjoy them, as much as, I enjoyed holding these little guys. Have a great day! Theresa

Hello! Not much going on; still on vacation and getting some things done around the house. I have a question; is anyone having problems using facebook? I have problems and sometimes it freezes up. It is slow for me. Is there anything I can do to help speed things up? I use facebook because of Jason and Sorsche. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't use it. If anyone has skype, I would love to talk with you on it. Jason, Sorsche, and I are the only ones that have it right now. Now I can see them and makes it easier for me, since I miss them. Nicholai will be 8 wks old on Thursday. He is our miracle baby. William will be two weeks old on Wednesday. He, too, is our miracle baby. Two beautiful grandsons to be proud of, and we are. Here are some recent pics of our little angels. Have a good evening. Theresa ps I added one of my handsome son. I love the suit. He better get use to it; because he and Sorsche are going to confirmation classes before having Nicholai baptized.

Hello! Heard from Sorsche, and it looks like they aren't letting Jason have a leave for Christmas and their one year anniversary. So, it looks like we are going to have to be strong for these kids. I know it is tearing them up inside, with it being their anniversary and Nicholai's first Christmas. If anyone has any ideas what we can do to cheer them up, let me know. Also, I have a prayer request. Sorsche's mother is having major surgery this coming Friday and is in need of prayers. Sorsche is a strong willed girl; but even strong willed girls need help sometimes; from one who knows so well. Guess that is how she and I get along; we have some things in common. Thank you for your support and prayers. Have a great day, Theresa  ps for those with loved ones in the military and won't be home for the holidays; my thoughts and prayers are with you

Dear Glen and friends,

The clock had clicking again ... it's time to wish a Happy Birthday to Orin Glen
Troutman aka Glen Trout aka Glen Glenn ... The Missouri born rockin' boy who
makes everybody's movin'since the golden 50's. 76 years is not old when your
think about Jimmie Davis goin' over one hundred. I use for myself a very easy
trick to feel younger: I put both number in different order. For Glen it would
make 67 but that's even better for me 'cause it make 25! Goodness, Gladys!

I remember buying my first Glen Glenn record in '77 and next year the cat will
be 77. Ain't that great?

My best wishes came to Glen on that very special day. Maybe Mary should let him
enjoy today one cup of coffee and a cigarette? Don't wait a hundred years from
now! He'll never stop lovin' you.

Your friend always.

Camille Daddy.

Hello! I have been a busy grandma lately! Started my Christmas shopping and done some wrapping of presents lately. Both grandsons are growing and getting cuter everyday! I even babysat William last week while Jessica and Adam attended a Halloween party. It was awesome! Jason is still in Germany and still doing an office job, while Sorsche and Nicholai now have their own apartment. They are still in Colorado, because if she were to go over there, chances are they'd be coming back with Jason. He is still waiting to see what the medical board will do. His back has gotten bad, and he needs to take pain killers. I really feel for Jason and Sorsche. He doesn't get to have leave for Christmas or their first anniversary and that is going to kill him. I hope we can help them in some way to ease the pain of not being together for the holidays. Other than that, our family is hanging in there and looking forward to the holidays. By the way, Sorsche is trying to get a job at Big Lots in Colorado Springs to help with the holidays. I wish her good luck. Well, that's all folks! Have a great day! Theresa Cornucopia

Today, I became more proud of Jason than I could ever imagine. This morning, after breakfast, a fellow soldier became a victim of cross contamination. She has a history of food allergies pertaining to shellfish and some other foods. Apparently, she had a bad allergic reaction that sent her down on the floor, and lost consciousness, and started turning blue. Jason gave her mouth to mouth and CPR to bring her around before going to the hospital. She is recovering in the hospital. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time. This makes the second time that he performed heroically, the first was during an accident around Pike's Peak and he took control of patroling traffic until the paramedics and lifeflight arrived. Today, I want to thank him and all of our military for their fine work in defending our country. I salute all of you. Theresa

Howdy,

Greetings for that boy ...
Yesterday, we celebrate the end of WW I and, of course, we remembered the stunning help given to us by foreign soldiers. Almost all the witnesses are gone by now but the soldiers and bees will stay remembered for them courage and strength.

Sincerely.

Dear friends,

Sorry to be kept busy and not much active on the group but I don't forget you.

Previous Sunday, I was at a Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran tribute and you can read a report about that show using the following link:

It's good to see Bob making some update to the great Rockabilly Hall of Fame web site. That web site is the most !!!

I wish you all Happy Thanksgiving and hope to be back on line soon to talk about my favorite ... Music, Music, Music!

Well, here it is a new year! I finally am online, but have to be hooked up because the wireless isn't working yet. I have missed all of you. Not much going on, same stuff, different day and year. It seems all I do is work and go home, watch tv, and go to bed. What an exciting life! LOL! Christmas was ok, nothing to write home about. It could have been better, but at least we were together. Hope you all have a very happy and healthy new year! Theresa

Hey you all Glen's friends,

Great to have some words from Theresa and to be able to send you my best wishes for a prosperous and happy new year.
2011 as come and we had a new year to rock ... Plenty of music and musical papers will come all through the year, many great records will come from ACE or Bear Family, some friends will be on roll call and some new folks will discover Glen's stunning musical work.
Few day ago, I was sharing memories with a friend who ride on the Maddox's Cadillacs in 1952 and who wote "The Man I Meet" and "The Ballad of Donna and Peggy Sue" for Ray Campi. Could you believe it? Today on the Rockabilly Hall of Fame web site I read a super great interview about Rick Nelson made by James Burton own words. Baby that's what I like!
Thanks to you all, the sound of the 50's and the rockabilly beat is as strong as on day one.
Keep looking through the web window and enjoying the memory of the past ... That dogonne world is still rockin' and I will do all my best to keep everybody's movin'!
Glen is my Buddy ... his recordings are my daily companion! They sound as fresh and strong as on day one. That cat really got it!
Glen is better than gold ... Its rate never go down and always stay at the top!

Cheers.

Camille Daddy.

Seems like we were just celebrating 2010 and now here it is already 2011! New
Year's Day will always have a bit of a shadow hanging over it though, because
that's the day we lost our sweet Carol, Mary & I will miss her always. But she
wouldn't want us to stay sad forever so we're determined to get Happy. Our
family is doing well, our daughter is finally on the right track after her heart
surgery 3 months ago and we're so thankful for that. We're truly blessed. 2011
is going to be a great year! On Elvis" Birthday, January 8th, I'll be going to
the Honeymoon House in Palm Springs again to help celebrate that, I don't
usually do any singing then, I just talk to the people and I enjoy that. His
fans are always so nice & friendly. Our oldest Grandson, Nathan is getting
married in April, that's exciting for us,so we're inheriting a sweet grand
daughter. All of you take care of yourselves and hopefully, I'll be seeing you
around someplace from time to time. I love and appreciate every one of you, I
hope you always know that. Bye for now, Glen

Howdy Glen and friends,

Great to have some words to enjoy to start that new year. We may cherish the past we had to look on future and to enjoy each day that come. I wish you a nice time in Palm Spring and i am sure all the guests, from friends to fans, will like to hear your stories. Meeting Mr Everybody's Movin' is such a thrilling experience ... We wish you a great new year and knowing a weeding is the way is a great news. Don't forget to serenade the newly weds with something like "Love Me Tender" or "Kisses Sweeter then Wine" ...

I started that new year reading "A Rocket In My Pocket" by Max Décharné on Serpent's tail. A good book that goes for US $ 16.99 and worth for each member of the group. That book is the companion for the new ACE CD ... Let's support that good new publication.

It's time to move now ... I had to rock my soul on some papers for future publishing. I just can't stop!

Your friend from across the ocean.

Camille Daddy.

Glad to see some message pouring from you all. Here the weather is rather cold and yesterday a cold rain was pouring all day long. I am not ready for summer but ... EAGER for it! I care much if the sun don't shine and my old bones need the sweet feel of sun rays.
I wish I could be with Glen, Mary and them friends at the Elvis Honeymoon celebration but it's long way from here. Anyway tomorrow we're gonna celebrate Elvis' birthday and spin some good rockin' records.
Can't stop to rock!

I finally am able to use email and write to you. It has been a very long time. A lot has happened over the past few months. My son and his wife are having marital problems, my father-in-law's health hasn't been the greatest, my health issues; which are being resolved, and just life in general giving me roadblocks to hurdle. We did have a nice Christmas and New Year. I haven't seen Nicky since Oct., but am bonding good with William since he lives up the street. Nicky is 5 mos and Will is almost 4 mos. Will had his first Thanksgiving and Christmas with us. He has two teeth. I know more about Will than I do Nicky, which is a shame. I hope in time I get to see Nicky again. Nothing new about Jason yet, and whether he gets out because of his back injury or not. Hope we find out soon. Other than that, we are doing alright. Hope all is well with you, Theresa

Hope all is well.. Just to let you all know my email address has changed to

Hi Glen and Mary... It is way passed my bedtime, but I wanted to peep in long enough to let you know that I am still around and I think of you both often!

Hello! Sorry that I haven't written in awhile. Not much happening, except winter has a firm grip and doesn't seem to let go. Jason is still in Germany awaiting his fate with the army; Nicholai is six months old and getting bigger. William, Jessica's baby is four months old and is a precious dumpling! He smiles so big when he sees me, it makes my heart melt! Nicky is a precious angel and babbles and tries to talk, so does Will. If Will doesn't have his Tigger, he screams. The family is surviving and waiting for spring. So, what has been happening in your neck of the woods. Theresa

You know how it is with children; you raise them up the way you hope they will remain into adulthood, but then as adults you have to respect their decisions or mistakes; no matter what they may be and if they are right or wrong decisions or mistakes, you try to stay neutral. And you still love them and try not to judge them. Jason may be looking at getting med boarded out soon; they are working on a permanent profile today. Just keep this family in your prayers. Have a great day! Theresa

Here is my precious angel, Nicky again. I love those big eyes! He looks a little like me at that age. I am starting my Easter shopping for my grandsons. Nicky is 6 months and William is 4 months. William has 4 teeth already. I love my precious angel and precious dumpling, in that order (Nicky and Will) Theresa

Howdy Glen's friends,

Great to see those cute pictures and to have some "young blood" comin' in. Time goes so fast and my own Camille is now 17 years old. Next month he will done his first trip, without us, in New-York City. If everything went right, he another trip sheduled for August on the Western states. That boy gotta be our ambassador until we should be ready to fly again for some vacations in USA.

Glen's french friends are still rockin' and next month several of us will enjoy a Sid King and Sonny Burgess' performance in France while some others will head to Las Vegas to see Al Hendrix, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roddy Jackson and Clyde Stacy.
I am keep busy by several papers and projects about 50's music but I am always glad to see some news coming from our group. Keep postin' and let's make everybody's movin'.

Your friend always.

Camille Daddy.

Going beyond DISRESPECT

Abraham asked the Lord to spare 50 righteous people. God responded to Abraham's plea "If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all ....Genesis 18:16-33

The movie " Corpus Christi " is due to be released this June to August. A disgusting film set to appear in America later this year depicts Jesus and his disciples as homosexuals! As a play, this has already been in theatres for a while.  It's called " Corpus Christi " which means "The Body of Christ".  It's revolting mockery of our Lord. But we can make a difference.

That's why I am sending this e-mail to you. If you do send this around, we just might be able to prevent this film from showing in America .  Let's stand for what we believe in and stop the mockery of Jesus Christ our Savior. Where do we stand as Christians? At the risk of a bit of inconvenience, I'm forwarding this to all I think would appreciate it, too. Please help us prevent such offenses against our Lord. There is no petition to sign, no time limit, or minimum number of people to send this to.. It will take you less than 2 minutes!

If you are not interested and do not have the 2 minutes it will take to do this, please don't complain when God does not have time for you because He is far busier than we are. Hey it's worth a shot!
Apparently, some regions in Europe have already banned the film. All we need is a lot of prayer and a lot of e-mails.

              JUST GET THE WORD OUT

....will God be able to find at least 50 righteous people who are willing to express their concern and voice their opinion against this act of blasphemy

I don't usually complain, but the last few days have been awful. I'll try to
make this short. My mom bought our house in 1961. She continued to pay on it for
thirty-one years until we lost it. Throughout my childhood, my dad was on
again/off again from Chrysler, so we lost our house because we got behind in
taxes. In fact, he was out of work more times than not. The guy who bought it
paid $20,000 for it at a sheriff's sale. We then paid rent to him for nineteen
years because we couldn't afford to move elsewhere. My dad was murdered in 2006
and two years before that I had a bout with breast cancer. Recently, our
landlord told us he lost the house and all the other property he had. However,
he said that we could buy it from the bank, who now owns it. We spoke with the
banker for two months about buying it and fixing it up, only to find out that he
has now been fired and has no control over the situation. Our credit isn't up to
par even though my mom and brother make decent monthly incomes. We aren't rich
by any means, let's say we make enough to get by. They now won't give us a loan
because our credit isn't good enough. They tell us we will be evicted in sixty
days. Don't know what we will do because we don't have the money to move. I have
prayed and prayed about it to no avail. It has made me and my mom sick with
grief and stress. I am supposed to be writing a book, but I don't know how I can
concentrate on that with all the problems here.
I am currently asking for monetary gifts of $20. We don't even have money to
move. My paypal address is homersm2001@.... Several people have given
already, and I hate asking people for money as I know others have it rough as
well. However, we'll be homeless.
