IN THE NEWS:  The original bass player for Christian Heavy Metal band BRIDE has launched a new website at axiommusicgroup.com.  Scott Hall is offering free help for aspiring Christian artists with resources and a “Blog” where website visitors can post questions.  Also the site features a “Bio” page with Hall’s look back at the early days of Bride, several photo galleries, a chronicle of his transformation from bassist to the band’s manager during the early 90's and a “Collectibles” page with links to eBay auctions of many rare promotional items. <><

The Gospel Music Association’s Music Awards will spotlight many of today’s “freshest” faces and diverse musical styles on April 13th.  Confirmed to perform live during the awards show at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville are CASTING CROWNS, SELAH, BARLOWGIRL, BETHANY DILLON, NATALIE GRANT, WATERMARK, CHRIS TOMLIN, DAVID CROWDER BAND, MATT REDMAN, TONEX and SKILLET.  The GMA promises this year all 44 Dove Awards categories and winners will be presented during the awards show in addition to the program’s presenters and performers. <><
