IN THE NEWS: Radio Disney and the Disney Channel have teamed with all girl rock/pop Christian group EVERLIFE to give away a new plasma TV and entertainment center to a viewer. The trio of sisters (Amber, Sarah and Julia Ross) from Indiana, Pennsylvania will deliver the prizes to the winner’s home and also perform for them and two of their closest friends. The presentation and mini-concert will air on the Disney Channel later this summer.
Everlife started writing and performing when youngest sister Julia was only nine (now fifteen-years-old) and eventually had their first #1 radio hit on Pittsburgh's top Christian music station with "Lead the Way." The Ross sisters are currently moving up on the charts with their first national single, “It’s My Evidence,” from their self-titled debut album on Shelter Records. <><
SOUNDBYTES: The Walt Disney movie The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe will have not one, but two soundtracks when the film is released this fall. The live-action adaptation of the C.S. Lewis classic will have one soundtrack featuring mainstream pop and rock artists while the second will be an inspirational set with songs written and performed by Christian artists. <>< MERCYME’s third consecutive single has entered the Top 10 on a mainstream Adult
Contemporary chart. “Homesick” hit # 9 on Radio & Record Magazine’s AC chart. <><
