Modern worship artist JASON MORANT is getting ready to release his sophomore project next month.  Morant had planned to record “Open” in his hometown of New Orleans before Hurricane Katrina destroyed his studio there but the singer/songwriter ended up working with co-producer Paul Mills in Nashville to record the songs he had spent the last two years writing in the Crescent City.  According to Morant, "I had really looked forward to doing this record at home, but in the end, I believe all that I had envisioned has even gone beyond my expectations.  Paul and I have actually treasured the fact that our recording plans were foiled more than once because it forced us to constantly surrender the project to the Lord and not rely on our own strength."

“Open”, which is set to be released on May 30th, overflows with 16 tracks, all written or co-written by Morant, including two instrumental tunes.  For more information, go to jasonmorant.com. <><
