The PASSION series will release its first DVD on June 27th. with Passion ’06: Everything Glorious.  The project was filmed live at this year’s event in Nashville before 18,000 students and features performances and conference talks from CHRIS TOMLIN, DAVID CROWDER*BAND, MATT REDMAN, CHARLIE HALL, Passion founder LOUIE GIGLIO and best-selling authors Beth Moore and John Piper. <>< A documentary film featuring Christian artist SARA GROVES releases on August 8th.  Sara Groves: Just Showed Up For My Own Life is a “music infused, reality style film” with footage from Groves’ Hurricane Katrina relief efforts in Slidell, Louisiana and the singer’s trip to Rwanda to learn about the challenges after mass genocide in the country 11 years ago. <>< A long-time member of Grammy-winning group TAKE 6  has written his first book.  Alvin Chea, whose distinctive bass voice can also be heard as "the voice of God" in the new Sony Pictures family film, RV, has released BassLines, a collection of “poignant stories culled from 20 years of life on the road with the multi-talented group.” <>< Longtime ALATHEA band mate Carrie Theobald Buell has quit the female trio.  Carrie, the wife of Garrett Buell of CAEDMON’S CALL, is leaving the group after eight years to “focus on serving her family and community of friends.” <>< SEVENTH DAY SLUMBER is currently in a Memphis, Tennessee studio working on a new album produced by Paul Ebersold (THIRD DAY, SKILLET, 3 Doors Down, Saliva.)  Fans can view video from the studio sessions at www.myspace.com/7thDaySlumber. <><
