DAILY PLANET's lead singer Jesse Butterworth successfully underwent surgery to reconstruct his leg that was seriously injured at a festival performance last summer. NATALIE GRANT returned to her hometown of Seattle to perform the National Anthem in front of 67,000 football fans at a recent Seahawks vs. St. Louis Rams game. Natalie's latest project, "Deeper Life," has so far produced the singles "I Will Be," "I Desire," and "No Sign of It," which hit mainstream Adult Contemporary charts. The singer will also be performing at several Women of Faith events this fall. <><
VICKIE WINANS celebrates her 50th. birthday in Detroit on Friday, Oct. 17th. Friends and family will help commemorate this special time with a rededication ceremony officiated by Bishop Andrew J.D. Merritt and will include appearances by YOLANDA ADAMS, KIM BURRELL, and DARWIN HOBBS. The BET network will tape the event to air at a later date on the "Lift Every Voice" show. SOUNDBYTES: PLUMB (whose real name is Tiffany Arbuckle Lee) has signed with the mainstream concert booking agency The Agency Group, which has offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Nashville. Tiffany's single "Real" from her current album "Beautiful Lumps of Coal" is at number 2 for the third week on MTV Asia. <>< TEN SHEKEL SHIRT recently performed at a Professional Golfers Association Tour Event in Farmington, Pennsylvania. PGA Tour veteran and Ten Shekel Shirt fan Lee Janzen booked the band's performance at the Chapel at the PGA Event. <><
