IN THE NEWS:
JACI VALASQUEZ was invited to entertain President George W. Bush and troops of the 101st. Airborne division last week. Over 20,000 people were on hand at Fort Campbell, Kentucky to welcome home the troops from Iraq and to hear Valasquez sing “God Bless America,” “God Loves You,” and “Con Tu Amor.” This is the sixth White House function that Velasquez has performed (the first time was for President George Bush, Sr. when she was only 12 years old.) <><
Again this week, The Passion of the Christ’s original motion picture soundtrack sits atop of Billboard’s Contemporary Christian and Soundtrack charts and is in the top 20 in the trade magazine’s Top 200 sales chart. Also the composer of the film’s soundtrack, John Debney, will appear on NBC’s "Today Show" on Good Friday, April 9th. <><
THIRD DAY, NEWSONG, OUT OF EDEN, and KELLY MINTER are in South Africa this month to help increase public awareness of the HIV/AIDS pandemic and the severe food shortage in the region. The artists are on the "African Heart" trip sponsored by World Vision and have went to HIV/AIDS treatment sites and clinics and visited one-on-one with AIDS orphans in Lesotho and Swaziland. <><
SOUNDBYTES:
SWITCHFOOT’s latest album, The Beautiful Letdown, has been officially certified Platinum (sales of 1 million units.) The crossover band’s live DVD, Switchfoot: Live In San Diego, releases Tuesday, March 23rd. <>< CHRISTAFARI’s frontman Mark Mohr and his wife Avion have moved to Trinidad and Tobago, a twin island country in the southeastern Caribbean, to plant a church. "The Gathering" will be located in the city of St. James. <>< The CCM group GO FISH sang the national anthem at a “Minnesota for Marriage” rally on Monday (March 22nd.) The event was at the State Capitol to support a state constitutional amendment defining marriage as between one man and one woman. <>< U2’s BONO will deliver the commencement address at the University of Pennsylvania on May 17th. Bono, whose song “Walk On” is featured on DARLENE ZSCHECH’s current solo album, will also receive an honorary Doctor of Laws degree at the ceremony held in Philadelphia. <><

1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.
2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.
3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of three.
4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.
5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends is that they don't have e-mail addresses.
6. When you go home after a long day at work you still answer the phone in a business manner.
7. When you make phone calls from home, you accidentally dial "9" to get an outside line.
8. You've sat at the same desk for four years and worked for three different companies.
10. You got this e-mail from a friend that never talks to you anymore, except to send you jokes from the Internet.
11. You are too busy to notice there was no #9.
