IN THE NEWS:
Rumors are now circulating on several fan websites that Christian crossover band LIFEHOUSE has called it quits. Music forums on these sites are suggesting that bassist Sergio Andrade and guitarist Sean Woolstenhulme may have left the group who had a number one hit “Hanging By A Moment,” which was the most-played song on mainstream radio in 2001. Also the unconfirmed buzz is that frontman and co-founder Jason Wade and drummer Rick Woolstenhulme are still together and have left DreamWorks Records and are now signed with Interscope Records. Lifehouse released two albums with DreamWorks--No Name Face in 2001 (which sold over 2 million copies) and Stanley Climbfall in 2002. <><
SOUNDBYTES:
TINMAN JONES has released a video for their new single "Guitar Saint" from their latest album Poetic. Fans can catch the new video on the band's website at www.tinmanjones.com. <>< Actor Stephen Baldwin, a self-proclaimed Christian and also the younger brother of fellow actor Alec, has produced an evangelical, “extreme sports”-themed film called “Livin’ It” in conjunction with the Luis Palau Evangelistic Association. The film will be distributed through Tooth & Nail Records with a release date of May 18th. <>< NEWSBOYS recently hosted a pre-race concert for the Pepsi 300 NASCAR Busch Series competition at the Nashville Super Speedway.
