STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN and his wife Mary Beth have signed with Tommy Nelson Publishing, the kids’ division of Thomas Nelson, Inc., to create a series of children’s books.  The first release chronicles the adoption of the couple’s daughter, Shaohannah, from China.  Shaoey & Dot: Bug Meets Bundle will hit store shelves on November 4th. in conjunction with National Adoption Awareness Month.

The Chapmans have been married for more than 17 years and have five children.  Three years ago they launched Shaohannah's Hope, a foundation that cares for orphans by involving the church and helping Christian families reduce the financial barrier to adoption.<><

A new companion CD to the Zondervan book Everything Counts will be released on August 24th. in combination with the book.  The album, Everything Counts--Worship Songs for Radical Living will include modern Worship music by SONICFLOOd, TREE 63, TODD AGNEW, BIG DADDY WEAVE, BY THE TREE, and the DESPERATION Worship Band.  Everything Counts was inspired by Oswald Chambers’ classic My Utmost For His Highest and will feature an entire year of devotions adapted for students.<><
