IN THE NEWS:
A major music club has announced it will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the album In the Name of Love: Artists United for Africa to World Vision.  BMG Music Service’s Christian music club, Sound & Spirit, will make the CD available to almost a half million members in its “Christian Pop” listening preference through catalogs and on its website, www.bmgmusic.com.  In the Name of Love: Artists United for Africa was released in January to help raise awareness of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Africa and features remakes of classic U2 and BONO songs done by AUDIO ADRENALINE, DELIRIOUS?, JARS OF CLAY, PILLAR, TOBY MAC, and eight others. <><

Worship leader/artist MATT REDMAN will release a DVD to accompany his latest album, Facedown, this week.  This four hour video was recorded live at North Point Community Church near Atlanta during a songwriter’s conference earlier this year.  Also featured on the DVD is teaching segments from Passion conference founder Louie Giglio, complete chord charts and lyrics from Redman’s Facedown CD, and live concert footage from Modern Worship artists CHRIS TOMLIN and TIM HUGHES.<><

SOUNDBYTES:
