RUBRIC RECORDS TO RELEASE GOGOL BORDELLO'S ENHANCED EP "EAST INFECTION"

NEW YORK, NY - February 1, 2005 -- Rubric Records will release Gogol
Bordello's East Infection on March 22, a 6-song collection of b-sides,
acoustic tracks and outtakes. This enhanced EP will also include live
performance footage from Gogol Bordello's 2004 U.S tour.
 
"East Infection" includes two outtakes from the band's recent recording
session with Steve Albini in Chicago last October as well as a cover of
Manu Chao's "Mala Vida." The band spent a month at Albini’s Electrical
Studios working on their upcoming full-length recording, which is set
to come out later this summer.
