Pickups for Gypsy Jazz   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #415 of 1591 |
Hi,
I purchased an entry-level guitar (Gitane DG-255) and am starting to get into
this music.
I've heard that Bigtone is the best regarded pickup for gypsy jazz guitars. My
question is:
are there less expensive pickups out there that still provide a decent quality
sound?
Putting a $300 (?) pickup in a $600 guitar isn't doesn't make sense to me at
this point.
But I'm interested in any ideas or recomendations.
Thanks,
Dan
