Hello all,

For those of you who don't know of us, we're Modjango, a gypsy Jazz
guitar duo based in Birkenhead, Merseyside, UK.
Here's a couple of tracks for you.......they're due to go on the
next album, latcho drom, released sometime this year (trying to work
as quickly as possible!).

Our usual website (djangoreinhardt.net)is down, due to the host
going bust (grrrrr), but we're working on this at the moment.

There's a couple of tracks on the fly by wireless link, Rodrigo's
concerto D'Aranjuez, and Bossa Dorado. I've been recording these for
the last few days, and I'll post more as and when. I actually did
the rhythm on Aranjuez using a kitchen pan, two spoons, and a large
wooden spoon :)
It starts like the original, classical version, but becomes entirely
original. Again, Bossa Dorado follows a similar pattern.

I was encouraged to post these by a couple of mates of mine, who are
regular forum goers, and in the end I buckled and have done so :) I
just hope they still buy the CD lol :)
