Michael's book is an excellent introduction to the picking style,
perhaps the best. However, the question seems to be more about
comping, i.e., playing gypsy rhythm. John Jorgenson's "Intro To Gypsy
Jazz Guitar" is a good intro to the comping style, and it includes a
good DVD (although I don't know if North American Zone 1 DVDs will
play in Argentina).
Michael Horowitz will soon be releasing a new book on gypsy rhythm
(perhaps a multi-volume book). Watch the www.djangobooks.com Web site
for news.
Also check into the Gypsy Jazz Forum on www.djangobooks.com/forum.
There is a whole discussion topic on Gypsy Rhythm.
Good luck with your playing!
