This site is a resource provided by the Heart of America Suzuki Teachers Association (HASTA). HASTA was established 25 years ago and has a large membership base that covers all four surrounding counties on both the Kansas and Missouri sides. Including some teachers from Topeka, and Iowa. All HASTA teachers strive to educate students and parents through music using the nurturing approach developed by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki. Key elements of the Suzuki Method include: Parent Involvement, Beginning Young, Listening, Repetition, encouragement, Group Learning, Graded Repertoire, and Delayed Reading.
