Mission Statement:
To promote the common good and general welfare of the people of Harvard and other communities by providing periodic choral concerts of fine quality for the public; and to provide, for interested people of sufficient musical ability, an organized group with which to sing.
Harvard Pro Musica is a non-profit organization supported in part by grants from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Support also comes from contributions from individuals and businesses, and program advertisements.
The chorus consists of about 40 members from Harvard, Lancaster, Acton, Bolton, Boxborough, and other towns. The musical director is Mark Bennett.
Our Activities Calendar:
Performances are held in local towns, recently in Harvard, Lancaster and Acton. Music comes from the classical Repertoire, from Baroque to modern, from larger masterpieces to smaller lesser-known gems.
