The IndieList was the very first email discussion group for independent music on the internet! Years ago, before there were cool web sites like YahooGroups, I had a small Macintosh computer in my office, running a complicated set of mailing list programs, and it was called, the IndieList! Created as the very first email discussion group for independent music on the web, IndieList members went on to found some of the market's most successful businesses. It was the primordial beginnings of an entirely new music market! Once YahooGroups became available, I moved the IndieList off my home computer to this amazing platform.

Use the IndieList for what it has always been intended, internetworking and discussion of the indie music market! The IMC has taken place 11 times over the past 8 years in various cities around the country, including Dallas TX, Charleston WV, Philadelphia PA, Los Angeles CA and Northampton, MA.
