Hi! This is singer, recording artist, DJ, and JAN & DEAN fan, Derek Evan. I'm quite suprised that not one person from this fan club has had any comments to make about my new recording of "Baby Talk" which was originally a big hit for Jan & Dean in 1959. I posted a couple of messgaes about it when the song was first posted on my MySpace site, but so far, I have not received any comments from anyone in this club.

I'd love to know your comments (positive or negative) if anyone has any! Although artists will often try to "make a song their own" by altering it to fit their own style or making it sound more modern, I chose not to do that on this particular song. Instead, I tried to replicate the sound of the original record as much as possible, since it is my favorite song of all time. I will be performing in the "Jan & Dean/ Beach Boys" portion of my show from now on.
