Sounds good . . . I'll be looking forward to hearing your Jan & Dean tribute
album.
You're right . . . I do have custody of Jan's documentation . . . for the
foreseeable future . . . but I don't own the stuff. And people ask me for copies
all the time . . . "Can I have this, can I have that?" Ha!
For now, I don't have permission to share anything . . . but that could change
over time, as more of our projects come to light.
I don't have any control over what's been taken or copied from Jan's archive
over the years. I can only follow Jan's wishes with what I do have.
Keep me posted on your album. We can compare notes. With our project, we're
largely avoiding the big hits (with a few exceptions). We'll have 20-some tracks
that highlight some of their best stuff, overall.
The more attention J&D get, the better.
