Greetings Jazz & Theatre Lovers , Friends & Family,

We are coming to the end of an awesome run at my home for Jazz & Theatre, the world famous, NUYORICAN POETS CAFE and it has been a true privilege and pleasure to bring back  Laurence Holder's dynamic play, MONK to such appreciative audiences over the past weeks.   At this time I would like to ask that you share this email with as many of your friends as possible and give them the opportunity to be turned on to the MONK magic.  I am also so grateful and thankful to the living legend who composed and arranged the music for this sensational play.  He is none other than jazz legend, Bill Lee (who also composed the music scores  for such movie soundtracks as; Do The Right Thing, Mo Better Blues, School Daze, and other films for his son Spike).

As a treat to those of you who come out for this Thursday night's performance.  You are all welcome to be my guest for some great live Latin Jazz after the play with the great Chembo Corniel with his power-packed Latin Jazz ensemble, Chaworó.

For reservations and: 212-465-3137.
Advance ticket sales: 212-780-9386 or www.nuyorican.org
All Tickets : $20

Peace & Blessings,
Rome

No, not the TV show.
MONK is a great one-man play about the great jazz pioneer Theolonious Monk.
It is playing at the Nyorican Poets' Cafe on 3rd between Avenues B and C until Jan 11.
I saw it and recommend it highly to you.
It costs $20 and is well worth it.
Chuck Jagoda

Hi Rome..thank you again for your great work
