Nick and Jessica's divorce finalized

In Touch has learned exclusively that Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey have finalized their divorce late this afternoon. A retired judge appointed to the case signed the papers in LA, signaling an end to the couple's four-year marriage. The quick resolution of their divorce comes after Jessica called Nick a few weeks ago to ask him if they could speed up the process. A friend of Jessica says, "She decided to push forward with the divorce after Nick was seen dating a string of women following their split last November." A spokesperson for Jessica said, "The divorce is final. The marriage is officially over."
