June 18th - Rochester Fatherhood Resouce Initiative's 4th Annual
Celebrating Fatherhood Picnic. The RFRI, Inc is hosting its annual
Celebrating Fatherhood cookout to be held June 18th at the Lake Ontario
Beach Park (Charlotte Beach). This is a free event for the whole family
that includes food, non-alcoholic beverags, music, guest speakers,
family activities, mayor candidates forum, voter registration, health
screenings and lot's more. This year the RFRI is planning to
give "Father of the year" awards to well deserving individuals. The
featured artist this year will be the Jimmie Highsmith, Jr. Smooth Jazz
Trio. Time of event is 11:00am to 5:00pm.
