Last year, there was a person who posted in "want it now" on ebay willing to pay 600.  I paid 550 for mine, 600 including shipping in 2002 - 'mint' condition that required a new encoder/data wheel upon arrival.  It only took 4 weeks to get the part in from Japan...anyway I digress...
 
I haven't seen a K5000s on Ebay in quite some time - probably a year, perhaps longer.  I would expect with today's economy to see it go for 450 +S&H.  I'd want more for it if the economy were stronger.  People just aren't selling them...
