Yes, that was the name.

Using MIDI controllers is cool - at least if you want to build a box
that can work with more than one instrument.

I might end up building a sysex-based box for my Roland MKS-70, which
can take (I believe) realtime sysex patch edits.

But then I could add more knobs, or assign more than one function to
each knob (have something like a knob shift key) - all provided that the
respective parameters are all MIDI accessible, which is the key to the
whole issue.

The macro knobs on my k5000s sends out midi CC's. I assume the separate macro box is the same. The CC's are.. 16 Harm Lo 17 Harm Hi 18 FF Bias 19 FF Speed...
