Dear members,
within the scope of the "Festival de l'imaginaire" the two-part concert "Vièles populaires iraniennes" will take place in Paris on March 17th at 8 PM and in Villeneuve d'Ascq on March 20th.
The first part "Kamanche du Khorassan" will feature the unusual duo of the bakhshi Sohrab Mohammadi (vocal & dotar) and the asheq Vali Rahimi (kamanche). They are both Kurmanji Kurds from a little village north from Bojnurd.
The second part "Qechak Turkmène Sahra" will be performed by the bakhshýs Arâz Mohammad Shir-Mohammadli (vocal & dotar) and Yusef Dibâi (qeychak). They both originate from Gonabad.
