the organizer Dr. Saeed Rezai Afshar informed me of the upcoming Germany tour by the Kamkars Ensemble ( www.kamkars.net ). The expanded group now includes Bijan Kamkar (vocal), Robab Pashang Kamkar (santour), Ghashang Kamkar (setar), Arjang Kamkar (tombak), Arsalan Kamkar (oud), Ardeshir Kamkar (kamanche), Ardavan Kamkar (santour), Arjang Seifyzadeh (tar), Shervin Mohajer (kamanche), Amir Haghiri (daff), Maryam Ebrahimpour (vocal), Saba Kamkar (vocal). They will perform from March 28th - 30th in Düsseldorf, Neu-Isenburg (very close to Frankfurt a. M.) and Munich. The first concert will be recorded by the WDR radio company.
