I am curious about 2 pictures:
To me, the instrument depicted here is not a kamancheh but some kind of a bowed tanboor or a chaghaneh. The shape and the soundholes don't add up to a kamancheh (unless we're only talking about the bow). It would be nice to hear everyone's ideas.
This instrument is also noteworthy. It looks like a lyra or some type of a viol. It also has frets!
Musical instruments, especially the old ones, always fascinate me.
