Re: [Korg03RW] Voltage !!!!

Hi Neil,

I had a minute to check my own 03RW which is set up for USA 120 volt mains.
If your buyer has a little tech skills, he can make a simple modification to
make it compatible. It would involve replacing the power cord (3 wire with US
type plug) and moving one lead on the power transformer. Just as I figured,
the power transformer was manufactured for various voltage systems worldwide.
How they connect to the local "mains" is merely how the wires feeding it are
connected. Total cost for making the modification would be the cost of the
power cord (approx $6 USD) depending where he bought it.

Regards, Ed

Further looking at you post again, 240 Volts at 16 watts (Euro) roughly converts to 110 Volts (US) at 32 watts. Within the limits of the Radio shack converter....
