Hello,

   Just to clarify this to me once and for all:

   Does the K2000 take regular SIMM's that will work in an old IBM compatible
PC?

Dave

Here are the specs for the SIMMs to insert in the K2000 (found in old Macintosh)
:

* 30 pin
* 8 bit (non-parity)
* 120 ns or faster
* non-composite SIMMs (recommended)
* 1 meg, 4, meg, or 16 meg SIMMs can be used. (8 meg SIMMs are composite and
will not work).
* Both EDO and Fast Page Mode SIMMs will work correctly

as with most Kurzweil related questions of any kind, make sure to
check also Tony Palermo's invaluable k2users.org site. Info on sample
memory is at: http://www.k2users.org/k2/k_hardw.htm#SIMM

Good Luck!
