Description
Welcome to LCFlyIns!!!
This group was started with the purpose of helping to connect fans going to see Lloyd Cole's concerts at Whelan's in Dublin, Ireland, recorded over three nights for a live album. The site is still following Lloyd Cole's music plus archiving interviews, reviews, photos and videos. It is open to ALL Lloyd Cole fans, but is especially anticipating the Live CD, not to mention the "Cleaning Out The Ashtrays" compilation of unreleased music recorded over the last twenty years. Because of spamming, membership needs to be approved.
The Dublin FlyIn was a blast, and we hope to encourage others to plan LC FlyIns of their own. (Hint: Australia would be a great destination for those in the East Asian region--see Siggy-LCFlyIn Chairman of the SE Asia/Oceania/Australia region. I'm Brian of the North America/Ireland region. Since the founding, we have had many LCFlyIn members go to other concerts and report back here, usually first I must add (smug grin).
All I ask is that all posts stay on topic or in the orbit of on-topic,(busses, golf, etc...). Please do not link to sites that download FREE music, as we believe artists should be compensated for their work (which is never enough).
