Quest has some news. After much serious deliberation, Mike (our
lead) has decided to retire from the quartet due to family reasons.
This leaves Brent, Tim and Jay looking to find a replacement lead or
tenor. (Jay is interested and willing to sing lead if that works out
for the best.) Quest has been very busy with shows and contests in
the nearly three years we've been together. And we have several show
dates coming up through next April. Mike will continue to sing with
Quest through these dates or until we have someone ready to fill in.

If you, or someone you know, is seriously interested in trying out
for Quest we'd like to hear from you. Of course, we have several
limitations. Jay is a pretty "low" tenor and has a very hectic work
schedule. Tim is a pretty "high" bass, but provides lots
of "counseling" to the other members of the quartet. Brent is a
terrific arranger and beyond that he is, ah, hmm – well, Brent.
(You might want to call Mike to learn more about the "interesting"
nature of the quartet.)

Seriously, we have very much enjoyed singing together and we look
forward to continuing our friendship with Mike. We are also looking
forward to continuing our quest for excellence if we can find the new
right match!
