This email is for Wisconsin Barbershop Chapters, their YIH VP's/Chairmen.

Posted below is list of Music Educators that requested the BBS music packet from
Society HQ while I was at the Wisconsin Music Educators Conference in Madison. I
would think a phone call to introduce your chapter and see what their choral
program is about would be in order.

If you call the school, you can request an email contact from the office staff.

On the bottom of the list is an action report that I would like returned to me.
Copy it into and email and return it with any info you think should be added.

Youth in Harmony is growing by leaps and bounds throughout the society. High
School Chapters are being formed and chartered. Take a look at the new student
dues structure, that is real encouragement for students that would like to join
our chapters. (Just remember if they do join, school commitments come first. We
don't want to alienate music educators) 

There are plans for a Wisconsin Youth Chorus with intentions of competing in
the 2010 Mid Winter Youth Harmony contest at that convention. Any School
contacts you can make may open the door for one or more students to become part
of that chorus. I say Wisconsin only because of the size of LOL. There could
well be a Youth Chorus formed in other parts of the district also.

How great would it be to have a youth chorus contest to see which one would
represent LOL at a mid winter convention?????

Our LOL Leadership Academy (COTS) is coming up in January. There is a class on
Youth In Harmony in your chapter (short Course) and the class for your YIH VP or
Chairman. Take one or both and get your chapter involved in the most exciting
thing thats happened in BBS, other than the move to Nashville, in the last few
years.
