It is time to make your plans for sending CAMPERS to the Harmony Explosion Camp
In La Crosse, June 18 - 21, 2009.
I know it is still the middle of winter, but camp time will be here before you
know it.
Division One, Packerland, 10,000 Lakes and Southwest Division chapters will be
contacted by the first week in February to see if they plan to send Students and
Music Educators to the camp. As your chapter has made it a budget item ( I hope)
when the call comes the answer will be yes and the next question will be how
many students and music educators. Chapters that say yes, we are sending
students will have follow up calls to track their progress.
We should top 75 students this year with all the festival activity we've had.
The cost is still only $140 per student or music educator. Chaperons come at no
charge. Music educators act as chaperons only if they request to do so. We will
refund $20 again this year for every Registration form sent in proir to May 15,
2009.
Each chapter that attended COTS should have signed for a year in review for 2008
and in there are all the forms and info your chapter needs for camp
registration. If your chapter was not at COTS, the year in review will be sent
to your chapter with your district directory's by Bob Fricke. Once again the
Medical Release form should be sent with the registration and check. All camp
forms and info are on the district web site at:
