1. LANDMARQ ON LBC RADIO
--------------------------------------------------
Now hear this! London-based commercial radio station LBC 97.3 recently
featured Landmarq on presenter Steve Allen's 'Thru The Night' show on
Thursday 7th October. Music reviewer Steve Hargrave is a regular guest
on the show's weekly music review, bringing in various CD's for
review, discussion, etc., and Landmarq were first in line on last
weeks slot. The live version of 'Heritage' from the album 'Aftershock'
was the featured track (or at least an excerpt of it) and the two
Steve's discussed the various albums along with other aspects of the
band. Landmarq's gig at the Underworld also received a 'plug' and the
overall verdict was a definite thumbs-up. Nice one!

2. ROTHERHAM ROCKED
--------------------------------------------------
Landmarq's return to the Classic Rock Society, Rotherham, (Sat 2nd
October) with Focus was exceptionally well-received and it was great
to talk with so many after the show. Thanks also to all those who
purchased CD's. Many of the audience members told the band they had
not seen Landmarq before but had enjoyed them very much. There were
also many positive comments regarding the all-new material the band
were show-casing during this run of gigs.
CRS member, Martin Blower wrote to the band (via email) after the show
saying:
"...Fantastic show at Rotherham. Never mind the old stuff though
'sleeping and dreaming' would have been nice, what about the new
songs. Every one a winner and the fact that the Focus audience were
not in the bar but had come in to listen, shows how good it was. All
we need now is the new album..."
Thanks go to Martin Hudson and the CRS.

3. UNDERWORLD OVERTURE!
--------------------------------------------------
An absolutely superb night for Landmarq with their second gig of this
run alongside Thijs van Leer and Focus (great show guys!) playing to a
near-capacity crowd. As previously, the new songs were well-received
and very highly praised. Again, quite a number of people were seeing
Landmarq for the first time with many staying to talk with the band at
the end of the night, purchasing CDs and grabbing autographs.
Malcolm Barden wrote to say:
"...Great gig on Saturday night. love the new songs. now just get the
new cd out - I hate waiting!..."
Marc Willcox (BBC):
"...excellent show...good to see Landmarq play live and to hear the
new material..."
Thanks go to sound-man Steve Rispin plus Drew, Sploot and the rest of
the Underworld crew.

4. RIGA RETURNS
--------------------------------------------------
Landmarq's return to Club Riga, in Westcliff-on-Sea, also proved to be
an excellent night for the band. Although attendance was lower at this
particular gig, those that came along certainly enjoyed Landmarq and
more praise was received for the new material. This is a great venue
for bands, with their rather unique set-up of two separate stages, and
for audiences too, who don't have to wait long before the next band is
ready to go. No support on this particular night gave the band the
opportunity to stretch out and include some of the 'old favourites',
such as 'Between Sleeping and Dreaming' and 'Lighthouse'.
After the show, the venue was happy to book the band for next year and
consequently there are two dates back at Club Riga for 2005:
Friday 4th March 2005
Saturday 3rd December 2005
Thanks go to Steve and Dave and all at Club Riga.
