1. UPLANDS GIG POSTPONED
--------------------------------
We have to announce with regret that the gig at Uplands Tavern,
Swansea, S. Wales, on Friday 15th April 2005 has had to be postponed.
We must apologise to those intending to come along for the short
notice of this announcement but we hope to be back there later in the
year. In fact, it will be Friday 2nd December 2005.

who contributed some excellent vocals -- drummer Dave Wagstaffe and
bassist Steve Gee.
No less than five separate mixes plus a docu-video have been included

3. NEW ALBUM

Just to say recording has at last begun on the next Landmarq studio
album. We'll have much more to tell you in the next newsletter.

4. BOB DAISLEY AND LANDMARQ
--------------------------------
No, before you ask, it's not Ozzie's bass player Bob Daisley!
In fact, fans of Landmarq who are familiar with the bands very early
history will know that Landmarq's very first singer was a vocalist,
coincidentally, with the same name. Bob never actually recorded with
the band deciding to follow a more commercial musical path. He has
since retired from public singing but has in recent times felt the
desire to put some music together for a 'private release' CD album.
Bob contacted his old friends in Landmarq to see if they would be
interested in helping get the project together. Consequently, after a
period of more than fourteen years, the original and first line-up of
Landmarq found themselves together again, this time in a recording
studio. Steve Leigh also flew back to the UK from his new home in
Spain, keyboard in hand, for the three weeks of recording and
preceeding rehearsals.
Bob's request was to record a selection of some of his favourite songs
from various artists such as Coldplay, The Verve, Rod Stewart and
others, the result being the CD album, 'Bridges'. As Bob put's it:
"…it's basically a collection of songs that have a particular
meaning
for me within my life and times..."
Although these are cover songs from various pop artists, these
versions are not carbon copies but have been given the Bob
Daisley/Landmarq treatment.
The CD was pressed as a 'very limited edition' of just 500 and, as
previously mentioned, is a 'private (non-commercial) release' and so
not officially for sale.
If you'd like to know more, you can contact Bob through Landmarq at
