Attached picture is of Joe posing over the unconscious body of Jeffie whom
passed out due to the bag Joe was smothering him with...

Show Recaps from Fire Eater Wizard...

On The Metallic Onslaught: Shoebox was once again absent (maybe I should
mention his status only when he was present instead of when he's not, but
that would mean that his name would barely ever come up here, If ever).
Ditto for Maury (for whom the same is true apparently). Jeffie was there and
seemed none the worse for wear after his experiences of the week before
(being thrown down the stairs 3 times by Rick, and then his trip down the
stairs locked in the refrigerator where he apparently had to stay for quite
awhile before he finally managed to get out somehow). He said that he still
no longer likes P.O.D. and doesn't know why, but has a strong negative
reaction to any thought or mention of them. So, I guess he has finally
joined the rest of us in that regard. For some reason, Jeffie had a white
mouse (not the computer instrument, but the rodent) duct taped to his leg
under his pants. It was squeaking loudly and a lot, then got loose and
escaped. Later Jeffie and lance got into a fight... Lance dragged Jeffie up
the stairs... Now there seems to be some dispute about just exactly what
transpired next... Jeffie once again went hurdling down the stairs, that
much is clear... Joe was upset with Lance and accused him of turning into
Rick for not being able to carry out the plan to get rid of Jeffie
(although, I'm not sure what the plan was as the refrigerator thing had been
tried and he survived, but apparently there was one) and instead yielding to
temptation and throwing Jeffie down the stairs. However, Lance insisted that
he had done no such thing and that Jeffie had thrown himself down the
stairs, which Jeffie strongly denied. Joe did not seem to believe Lance, so
Lance told him to take Jeffie up the stairs himself... Which he then did
with some fate apparently in mind for Jeffie upstairs that he thought would
get rid of him, again, I don't know what... But, at the top of the stairs,
Joe suddenly threw Jeffie down the stairs... When Lance asked him why he had
done this Joe did not seem to know why exactly... I think Joe tried it one
more time with the same result... So, apparently, there seems to be some
strange, powerful, irresistible (possibly supernatural?) force at the top of
those stairs which compels everyone (including perhaps even Jeffie himself,
if we are to believe Lance) to throw Jeffie down the stairs, even when that
is not what they set out to do. I wonder if it would be the same for anyone
else being carried up those stairs, or just Jeffie... Now there might be an
interesting and fun experiment to conduct... If only Morie would show up, or
Just Joe, or perhaps Dave from Lotus Project, Oh, the possibilities! I would
have suggested Shoebox too, but, who could carry him up the stairs, all that
dead weight! Then Lance threw Jeffie down one more time saying that he just
had to do it that time Since Jeffie had done it himself the last time, and
he wanted the pleasure. The show ended with Joe and lance beating up on poor
Jeffie who was still alive and conscious even after all those trips down the
stairs..

On The Last Exit: It was the first of 4 10nth anniversary special shows
which will be going on all throughout the month of June. Just Joe was not
there. But Gorgar, David and Pat from Lotus Project were. The show kicked
off with the song which gave it it's current name, Fields Of The Nephilim's
"The Last Exit For The Lost". Very appropriate :) There was a lot of
reminiscing and explaining about the history of the show, When it first
aired, who all the hosts have been and where some of the former ones are
now, the name changes and different days and times it has aired, what the
idea and mission of it was/is. Interesting stuff, I already knew a lot of
it, as I am familiar with the show from quite awhile back although not from
the very beginning, so I learned some things I hadn't known, which was nice.
They talked about all the characters who have been on the show over the
years and many of the crazy and silly events that have taken place many of
which we relived through the playing of clips from the Best Of CD's. Lance
(Metallic Onslaught) and Tim (Victory Records) were also there as well. It
was all very nostalgic and informative and fun... I'm very much looking
forward to the rest of this month of special anniversary shows!

**************************************************************
Ok, no idea what is planned for The Metallic Onslaught. Marcos may stop by,
but who knows. Shoebox will not likely be there, and to clarify about
Maury, he will definitely not be there. Probably not anytime soon if ever
again. He is REALLY grounded. You don't even want to know what he did...

As for The Last Exit, well, I am keeping my mouth shut. There will
hopefully be a combination of visitors. I wouldn't miss it if I were you...
This will be the second of our 10th Anniversary Shows...

BATHORY Mastermind QUORTHON Dead At 39 - June 8, 2004

BATHORY mastermind Tomas "Quorthon" Forsberg was found dead in his apartment
in Stockholm, Sweden on Monday, June 7, informed sources have told
BLABBERMOUTH.NET. The 39-year-old son of Black Mark Records owner Börje
Forsberg, widely considered to be one of black metal's founding fathers,
died of an apparent heart failure. More information as it becomes available.
_______________________________________________________

Legendary video director and founding BATHORY member
Jonas Ekerlund has spoken to Sweden's Expressen
newspaper about the passing of BATHORY mastermind
Thomas "Quorthon" Forsberg from what is believed to be
heart failure. Forsberg, who was known to have been
battling heart problems for years, was found dead in
his apartment in Stockholm, Sweden on Monday (June 7).
He was 39 years old.
"It's so sad. He had much more to offer," Ekerlund
said. Jonas, who formed the band with Forsberg in the
early '80s, went on to have a successful
video-directing career, having worked with the likes
of METALLICA, PRODIGY, MADONNA and U2. "[BATHORY came
onto the scene] extremely early," Ekerlund said.
"People like Marilyn Manson, Billy Corgan and the
members of METALLICA have all come up to me and have
told me that they listened to BATHORY." According to
Ekerlund, it was Thomas Forsberg's creativity that
made the band such an influence on so many younger
metal acts. "[Quorthon] had a high cult status," Jonas
said. "He wasn't interested in attention, he just
wanted to play his music."

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SCORPIONS To Sting Fans with New Studio Album 'UNBREAKABLE'

First SANCTUARY Release for Germany's Heavy Metal Titans

Scorpions will release their new studio album 'Unbreakable' on Sanctuary
Records on June 22, 2004. 'Unbreakable' is the band's 20th album.

Vocalist Klaus Meine, guitarist Rudolf Schenker, guitarist Matthias Jabs,
drummer James Kottak and new bass guitarist Pawel Maciwoda have created an
album that's a return to form for the band. 'Unbreakable' is, quite simply,
a lethal dose of Scorpions.

The 13 songs on 'Unbreakable' include: "New Generation," "Love 'Em or Leave
'Em," "Deep and Dark," "Borderline," "Blood Too Hot," "Maybe I Maybe You,"
"Someday Is Now," "My City My Town," "Through My Eyes," "Can You Feel It,"
"This Time," "She Said" and "Remember the Good Times."

For 35 years Scorpions have excited the music world with their distinctive
style of heavy metal. The band formed in Hannover, Germany, and it remains
the only German band to achieve worldwide success. Early albums such as
'Lonesome Crow,' 'Fly to the Rainbow,' 'In Trance,' 'Virgin Killer,' 'Taken
By Force' and the double live 'Tokyo Tapes' established a core fan base.
'Lovedrive' and 'Animal Magnetism' rumbled toward mainstream consciousness
but 'Blackout' surged into the Top Ten on the strength of the hit "No One
Like You." It was the next album, 'Love at First Sting,' that shot Scorpions
to superstar status; the songs were remarkable. "Rock You Like a Hurricane"
remains an all-time classic anthem and other notable cuts include "Bad Boys
Running Wild," "Coming Home," "Big City Nights" and "Still Loving You."

The gargantuan success of 'Love at First Sting' was followed by the double
live 'World Wide Live' and 'Savage Amusement.' The next album, 'Crazy
World,' yielded the massive global smash hit ballad "Wind of Change,"
inspired by the fall of the Berlin Wall. Subsequent albums like 'Face the
Heat,' 'Pure Instinct,' 'Eye II Eye' and 'Moment of Glory' (with orchestral
backing from the Berlin Philharmonic) and 'Acoustica' reinforced Scorpions'
stature as one of the most important and successful heavy metal bands of all
time.

In addition to the Sanctuary release of 'Unbreakable' this year, a brand-new
three-CD box set titled 'Box of Scorpions' was just issued by
Hip-O/Mercury/UMe. This is the first-ever U.S.-released box set from the
band and it includes 51 digitally remastered songs from 20 albums on
multiple labels spanning the band's career from 1972 to 2002. All the major
hits, fan favorites and lesser-known standouts are included. 'Box of
Scorpions' features a photo-packed deluxe booklet complete with an essay and
song-by-song commentary from the band members.

Scorpions will embark on yet another world tour in 2004 to promote
'Unbreakable.'

For Immediate Release:
KMFDM Declares WWIII Tour 2003 DVD & CD Through Sanctuary Records

World Tour to Commence in July

2004 marks the 20th Anniversary of KMFDM, proclaimed heralds of the Ultra
Heavy Beat. For the past two decades, the archetypal cyber-rock band has
defied tradition, unleashing albums progressively more nihilistic and
aggressive than its predecessors. Last year, the band released its most
formidable album to date, WWIII through Sanctuary Records, which REMIX
Magazine deemed an all-out “electro-industrial assault”. Now, the label is
proud to announce the release of WWIII Tour 2003 DVD & CD this Summer.

Recorded throughout their Autumn 2003 tour, the DVD & CD capture KMFDM at
its most venomously entertaining. The Miami Herald acknowledged the tour as
a “the virtual embodiment of raging industrial rock.” A visually stunning
performance, KMFDM is renowned for its visceral live show as much as its
unapologetic, innovative sound. Released on June 22nd, the DVD includes not
only the white-knuckle concert performance, but a host of bonus features,
culminating in more than three hours of mind-numbing KMFDM socio-politically
charged entertainment. As The Pitch stated, “On stage, KMFDM is pure
cyberpunk, serving up a futuristic visual extravaganza.”

The track listing for the DVD performance includes:

WWIII Revenge
From Here On Out Bullets Bomb Bigotry
Black Ball Light
Brute Juke Joint
Jezebel
Stars and Stripes Intro
Pity For the Pious A Drug Against War
Moron

KMFDM ringleader Sascha Konietzko admits that this “new live material blows
the old stuff completely out of the water.” Along with the potent live
performance, the DVD offers numerous features that allow the viewer to
glimpse the manic world of KMFDM, including After Show & Backstage footage,
interviews with the band & crew, a tour photo slide show, a fan photo slide
show, tour journal entries from the band & crew, KMFDM Horde fan club
featurette, the animated Wild West Concert intro sequence, studio footage
from the WWIII recording sessions, song lyrics, an interactive e-card, an
electronic press kit, and a featurette allowing the viewer to embark on a
whale-watching excursion with the band.

The CD counterpart to WWIII Tour 2003 is comprised of the same track listing
as the DVD, but as a bonus, includes the exclusive track “Ultra”. The CD
version will be released on July 27th.

With KMFDM, the work is never done, and thus they are soon embarking on a
full world tour in further support of WWIII & the new live album/DVD. A
warm-up US run will occur later in June. The dates include:

Saturday, June 19th Portland, OR
Dante’s
Sunday, June 20th Ventura, CA
Majestic Theater
Monday, June 21st Los Angeles, CA El
Rey Theater
Tuesday, June 22nd Anaheim, CA
House Of Blues
Wednesday, June 23rd San Francisco, CA DNA
Lounge
Thursday, June 24th Sacramento, CA
Empire Theater
Friday, June 25th Seattle, WA
Fenix Underground
Thursday, July 1st Moscow, RUS Club
Tochka
Friday, July 2nd St. Petersburg, RUS
Port Club
Sunday, July 4th Berlin, GER
Columbia Fritz
Monday, July 5th Hamburg, GER
Grünspan
Tuesday, July 6th Frankfurt, GER
Batschkapp
Thursday, July 8th London, UK
Mean Fiddler

...and many, many more to be announced.

Following the tour, KMFDM is anticipated to return to the studio to begin
crafting yet another psyche-invading electro-organic beast. To conclude
with the words of Alternative Press Magazine: “KMFDM don’t just talk the
talk; they’re in on the apocalypse.”
