** RECAPS BY FIRE EATER WIZARD **
On The Metallic Onslaught: Joe was back (old Joe, not Just Joe), and he was
himself, or, at least, he started out that way... Lance was a bit late, so
Joe actually played some Stryper (their cover of "shining Star", no less!),
to lure him there. Lance arrived, and then, apparently, Satan called in to
request more Stryper, which was played. When Jeffie arrived, (he was back
this week as well), Joe attacked him and beat him down. Joe kept yelling
that this beat down was for Jeffie's ruining Star Wars for everyone (he and
Jeffie had been at a store for a special big sale on Star Wars toys the week
before, which was why they had been absent from MO). Jeffie kept saying that
he hadn't ruined Star Wars for anyone, he had merely told everyone what
happened in it. Joe kept beating on Jeffie, and somehow knocked the Skittles
out of him. Joe then took some of them and went back to the main room. Rick
decided he wanted to see how that worked, so he went into where Jeffie was
(intending to get in on the Jeffie beat down, no doubt). But Jeffie sprayed
a mist in Rick's eyes. Well, actually, the mist was White Rain hair spray.
Jeffie said he was sorry to Rick, but said that he had had to do that to
protect himself and the rest of the Skittles, which he said Rick was going
to take. He then got Joe to eat said Skittles, whereupon Joe became Joe Jeff
once again. So this week the Jeffie drug delivery device was apparently
Skittles (as opposed to Mountain Dew the last time). Jeffie said something
about the solid working better than the liquid (dirty! I'm sure you can
think of many jokes to go with that remark!), :) but caught himself when
they asked him what he was talking about, and insisted "nothing". Joe Jeff
went back to being Jeffie's friend. Jeffie found a balloon and kept playing
with it. There were some innuendos made as to exactly what kind of balloon
it was, and why there was a substance of some kind in it. :) Jeffie put the
balloon in his mouth and was sucking on it. Then Jeffie told Joe Jeff he had
a present for him... Pants Monkey! (A monkey which was in his pants, which
meant, of course, that, in order to show it to Joe Jeff, Joe Jeff had to
look at Jeffie's crotch). Every time Jeffie showed Joe Jeff Pants Monkey,
Joe Jeff screamed and seemed, understandably, to become traumatized. Jeffie
gave Joe Jeff a head (no! not head! a head!), a red stuffed head. Joe Jeff
threw the head. every once in a while throughout the night, Jeffie would try
to show Joe Jeff Pants Monkey again, and, every time, Joe Jeff would become
traumatized and start screaming again. Then Jeffie put that balloon in his
mouth again and was sucking on it and, apparently, swallowed most of it. Joe
Jeff pulled the balloon out of Jeffie's mouth. Jeffie told Joe Jeff that
having him pull the balloon out of him had been great, and that he had
really enjoyed it. Jeffie kept insulting and taunting Lance. Finally Lance
had had enough and he and Jeffie brawled, using the hair spray as a weapon,
and fighting for control of it. Then Jeffie sprayed Joe Jeff in the face
with the hair spray. He said that he was sorry, that he hadn't meant to do
that (yeah right!), that he didn't realize that when you pressed the little
nozzle like so... And, consequently, he then sprayed himself in the face
with it. Joe Jeff and Jeffie said that a caller had called in saying that
Rick and Lance sucked. Rick and Lance claimed that, no, the caller had said
that Jeffie and Joe Jeff sucked. Well, at any rate, the show ended with Joe
Jeff saying that they had to play a song for that caller... It was a unique
song... A sappy, extremely cheesy, song from the Hulk Hogan tribute album:
"The World Just Lost Another Hulkamaniac". It was truly something... And
that was MO for that week...
On The Last Exit For The Lost: Just Joe was there. A listener who was in the
chatroom kept requesting that they kill Joe. Strongly requesting this. After
a while, Just Joe said that he had had it with people demanding that he be
killed. He said, that, if they wanted it done so badly, then why didn't they
come down there and do it themselves?? But nooo! So he said that, if they
weren't going to do that, then he was going to go to them. He stormed out
slamming the door violently on his way out. They told the listener that Just
Joe was on his way to his house. A short time later, Just Joe was back
claiming that he had found this person, given him the beating of his life,
and left him crying and lying in a pool of his own blood. However, the
listener was still in the chatroom, and was fine. They told Just Joe that he
must've beaten the crap out of the wrong guy. So, a funny trick was played,
A week late for April Fools Day, but funny. For Just Joe's challenge for
that week... He had to face Azkath for two minutes in a shoot fight. Azkath
had two minutes to make Just Joe either submit or tap out. And so, with an
instrumental track playing as a backdrop for this, the fight began... Azkath
gave Just Joe a brutal beating, bouncing his head off of everything in the
room. But Just Joe was stubbornly hanging in there. So Azkath got a screw
driver. They started battling for control of the screw driver, and Just Joe
managed to get it away from Azkath, and to stab Azkath in the back with it.
The Two minutes elapsed, and Just Joe did not submit or tap out. So Just Joe
won what was probably his hardest challenge thus far (well except for the
only one he's lost so far, getting a glass of water tossed in his face by
Crow). For his reward for winning his challenge, Just Joe got to pick a song
to play (he chose "Amerika" by Ramstein). Just Joe was quite battered from
the beating he had taken, was having quite a bit of trouble getting up, and
then stabbed himself with the screw driver (that's 'cause he's stupid). Just
Joe was really bragging and gloating about his triumph (ha! a good Just Joe
pun there, not one of his favorite bands Triumph, but his win). Azkath told
Just Joe that he was going to spend his week plotting something terrible for
just Joe for his revenge. Just Joe kept taunting Azkath, and Azkath attacked
Just Joe, giving him another severe beat down. The show ended in a may
lay... The Penguin (who got there late, just in time for the last break) and
Just Joe were causing more chaos... So tune in this week. Who knows what
will happen. Odds are that it may not be too good for Just Joe. We'll see
what if any revenge Azkath has come up with, and who knows what else... Tune
in and see...
*********************************************************************
News from Azkath...
Ok, so what to tell you about... Well, From These Ashes should be at The
Last Exit for the Lost this week. They have a new song, and a new CD done
soon, if not by then. They will be doing their first show of the year at The
Haunt Sunday. We may also have some Pushrods representation. Or at least we
hope we will, with THEIR CD release show being next Friday the 22nd at
Castaways. And we will also be filming bits of it for their video, Girls in
Vinyl Skirts, also the name of the new CD, so if you are female, and would
like to be in the video, come to the show in a vinyl skirt. If you are male
and... well, yeah, I'm sure we can use that too...
Next week we should have If Man is Five at the show, and we have a few other
bands coming up soon, some that have never been up before, and it looks like
the show for June 4th has been finalized. See below for all the info, and
it is also the 11th Anniversary of The Last Exit for the Lost that night.
Should be fun. We will still be doing the Last Exit that night as well,
although the first hour may be pre-recorded, afterwards we will have
Divinity Destroyed and Elusive Travel up, and who knows who else. But that
is a ways away... New DVD is being worked on, we were supposed to do an
interview with Blitz from Overkill Monday for that, but stuff happened, and
I will tell that story Saturday night. Hoping to get it next Friday when
they play The Penny Arcade...
Also, we have now gotten UMTV cleared to air in Ithaca on Pegasus Cable
again. Starting THIS weekend, you can catch it on Sat at 1pm and 4pm, and
again on Sunday at 10pm. Their website for more info is http://umtv.info/.
I think that is all for right now, if I forgot anything, well listen to the
shows and see if I remember what it was. Oh, yeah, I have no clue what is
planned for The Onslaught, but that is often the case, and then all hell
breaks loose...
Now onto news...

Nocturne update: April 12, 2005
Hey Guys!
MESSAGE BOARD:
First off, I am so sorry that the message board has been down for so long.
Our server has been giving us problems, and we hope to have it back up
within the next week or so.
NEW NOCTURNE CD:
Secondly, the release of our new album "Guide To Extinction" is right around
the corner. You CAN go ahead and start placing orders off of our web site
(www.nocturne.cc), but I would advise that you buy the album at the show -
it will be faster then waiting on us to send it to you since we'll be busy
playing shows every night. Once the tour is over, we'll be able to send out
CDs much more quickly, but that won't be until the end of May. If you are
NOT able to make it to a show, then you can go ahead and order it off of our
site, but please be patient....since will be out on the road, in may take a
few weeks before we can ship it to you.
THE FREE FOR ALL TOUR:
And finally, here is the most recent info in regards to the upcoming tour:
The line up is as follows - each night there will be one (and occassionally
two) local opener(s) who will start the evening, then Voodou will perform,
followed by Nocturne, then Sheep on Drugs, and then Pigface will headline.
So please be sure to get to the venue early enough to see Nocturne perform!
I (Lacey) will be singing several songs with Pigface in addition to my
performance with Nocturne. Ben Graves of MURDERDOLLS (side project band of
Slipknot's Joey Jordison) will be on drums with Nocturne! The Enigma (from
Jim Rose Circus, who toured with NIN and Marilyn Manson) will be performing
on this tour as well! The Pigface line up will include Hanin Elias of Atari
Teenage Riot, Curse Mackey, Krztoff of Bile, Martin Atkins, Charles Levi of
Thrill Kill Kult, and
MORE!
WHY IS IT CALLED THE "FREE FOR ALL" TOUR?
The idea behind the "Free For All Tour" is that you will get the cost of the
cover-charge back in the form of merchandise coupons. Whatever you have
spent on your ticket to get into the show, you will receive that money back
in the form of coupons, that you can spend on CDs and t-shirts that will be
on sale at the shows! What an awesome idea!
QUESTIONS?
If you have specific questions about the show, such as age restrictions or
what time doors open, please call or e-mail the club. I apologize if you
have sent me an e-mail and I have not responded. I do read all of your
e-mails, but I sometimes get too overwhelmed, time-wise, to answer all of
them. My apologies for that, and I hope you understand.
SO WHERE ALL IS NOCTURNE PLAYING?
Below is a complete list of dates (Boston and Ithaca, NY have been added,
since the last e-mail I have sent out). We hope to see you all there!

your package, then it is on its way to you. Also, if you run out of flyers
and need more, or if you want to help and have not signed up to join our
street team yet, then please click here:
