** RECAPS FROM FIRE EATER WIZARD **

On The Metallic Onslaught: Neither Jeffie nor Lance seemed to have any
memory of what had happened the week before (Jeffie screaming "Lamb Of God!"
in a violent frenzy and dragging Lance away). Lance did say that all he
remembered was being at the show, and then waking up outside and discovering
that he had poison ivy, which he blamed Jeffie for and Jeffie denied
causing, saying that he didn't even remember leaving the show, just being
there, and then being back on his tour bus. Jeffie still said that every
time he heard "Lamb Of God!", it made his butt and nipples tingle in a sexy
way. He is sooo right about that! I try to say it as often as I can now
myself! Oh, the pleasure it brings! But I digress... Then Jeffie tried once
again (as he had tried all night, unsuccessfully, last week) to give
something that he said was very important to Joe. And this week, although he
still never did manage to give it to Joe, we did learn what it was... It was
a little monkey, which Jeffie was keeping in his pants, where he keeps
everything. Jeffie told Joe that the monkey was for him. Joe told him that
he didn't want the monkey, or anything else from him. Jeffie attempted to
give it to him anyways... And, once again, bizarre things began to happen.
Jeffie went back into a trance, yelling, yep, what else, "Lamb Of God!"
repeatedly and violently. He knocked Lance down in his chair again, but this
time the bizarre behavior was mainly directed toward Rick. According to the
commentary, it looked Like Jeffie and Rick were hugging, then dancing, then
Rick shoved Jeffie across the room, and gave him a forearm to the face,
which brought Jeffie out of his trance. Again Jeffie had no memory of any of
this. At the next talk break, Jeffie tried again to give the monkey to Joe.
He said that he would have to be very careful in handling it, as it was
meant for Joe (no doubt another attempt on Jeffie's part to try and turn Joe
back into Joe Jeff), and strange things seemed to happen to Jeffie if he
touched it himself. He thought maybe it would be ok if he carried it by the
little handle on top... He started to try to bring the monkey to Joe... And
promptly began shouting "Lamb Of God!" in a violent frenzy... Then he
grabbed Rick and dragged him away, and neither one of them was seen again
for the rest of the night... And so that was MO for that week. Great show.
If I had any complaint it would be this... Why don't they ever mention this
great band, "Lamb Of God!"? *OOOO! tingle!*

On The Last Exit For The Lost: The 1st two and a half hours of the show were
prerecorded as everyone was attending the big Xtreme Soundscapes Volume 2
DVD release show at Castaways. The show went great as those of you who were
there know, and for any of you who weren't there, shame on you! It was not
quite as well attended as all of us had hoped for, but everyone who was
there was really into it and had a blast. All of you should attend the next
volumes release, in a few months! Or we'll sick Just Joe on you! :) When
everyone got back and the show went live, the band Elusive Travel (one of
the bands who had performed at Castaways), and Brianna, guitarist of If Man
Is Five, (another of the acts from that show), were along and were there for
a bit. Just Joe was there for a while but left early, as he had to recover
from the show. Just Joe and his band, (oh yeah, I forgot to mention last
week that Just Joe claims to have a band along with Ian The Yeti, called The
Squirtin' Chubbies) had had an onstage role in the show. And first Mr.
Zeremba of Punch Drunk Monkeys had smacked Just Joe in the head with a
guitar, and then Mark of Divinity Destroyed had beaten the crap out of Just
Joe and made him bleed... Again... Also on LE that night was a voice from
the past. Exit of the band 99 Cent Special. He hadn't been on the show in
over 5 years, and stayed for the whole night. Some more of those
www.theinsanedomain.com questions were asked and answered. And thus went the
show for that week... This week... The show will begin live at midnight
again as usual. However, it will begin directly after another special big
event... The Xtreme Soundscapes Volume 2 DVD post release show, Saturday,
June 11th, at The Haunt. The show starts at 6:00 and will feature The
Pushrods, In Red, The Loiterers (another of Matt Barnes - Pile of Heads and
Bent Peg - bands), and Future 86 (formerly Pretty Suicide). That will be
another extremely cool show which all of you in the area should attend!
After that show the plan is to hopefully bring all four bands to LE. So,
that will be a very packed, interesting, fun and cool show! Be sure to first
attend the show at The Haunt, and then to tune in to LE!

****************************************************************
Notes from Azkath...

Indeed, this week will be another XS Show, this time at The Haunt. Who knows
what may befall Joe this time... Oh, wait, Mark of DD won't be there, he
should be safe. Mark later in the Punch Drunk Monkeys show got himself stuck
in Dan-O's coat hanger. This week's Last Exit feature at the end of the
night will actually be the live performances from If Man is Five and
Divinity Destroyed from last week. That will be the last hour of the show.
The bands we should have up this week will be Future 86 and inRed, both
playing acoustic. Not sure if The Pushrods or The Loiterers are coming up
afterwards, I would assume that at very least Crow will probably make the
short trek up, we will see.

I have uploaded a ton of new pictures to the site in the weekly pics
section. I have been neglecting that while working on the XSII DVD. Also
new on the page, the acoustic performance from Missing Marcus in the media
section. Also in the media section is the trailer for The Best of Vol 8, and
the videos from The Pushrods and Never the Sunshine that we have done for
them. The full quality versions can currently be found on the Xtreme
Soundscapes Vol II DVD. The trailer for that is now up on the XS section of
the page...

Next week, we should have Full Circle (www.fullcirc.net) up. For those that
missed it, That would be all of Twilight Kingdom from years ago, minus Chris
who is in Lotus Project. On July 9th, we will have dormitoryEffect
(www.dormitoryeffect.com) up from NYC. They will be playing acoustic in
studio that night...

STEVE ?ZETRO? SOUZA TO EMCEE THRASH AGAINST CANCER BENEFIT;
DEATH ANGEL GUITARIST TED AGUILAR?S SIDE PROJECT,
MUDFACE, ADDED TO BILL

SAN FRANCISCO- Steve ?Zetro? Souza, ex-vocalist for Bay area thrash
bands Legacy and Exodus, will emcee the Thrash Against Cancer benefit,
on Friday, July 9, at The Pound SF outdoor amphitheatre. Headliners
Testament will be joined by HIRAX, Laaz Rockit, and Vicious Rumors.

?It?s great to help out these families because I have children of my
own and I
would hate to see one of them lost to this dreadful disease,? said
Souza. ?I?m sure everybody at some time in their lives has lost
someone to cancer and they know how devastating it is.?

Souza had the privilege of singing for two of the most influential
bands in the Bay area. He originally sang for Legacy, later renamed
Testament, from 1983 to 1986. He left to join the now-legendary thrash
band, Exodus, for whom he sang with until 1992. Souza rejoined Exodus
in 2003 and the band recorded their first album in 11 years, the
critically acclaimed ?Tempo Of The Damned,? which was voted ?Best Metal
Album? last year by the readers of Metal Maniacs.

?The Bay area metal scene is my home,? said Souza. ?It?s what made me
what I am and who I am. Our scene is famous all over the world for the
thrash bands it has produced and I?m proud to be a part of that
history.?

Mudface, formally SIFT, the side project featuring Death Angel
guitarist Ted Aguilar, has been added to the Thrash Against Cancer
benefit. This will be the band?s first show for new members, guitarist
Rich Pia and bassist Nila, as well as their first performance under the
name Mudface.

?It feels great to play on the same stage with bands that I grew up
listening to and still listen to now,? said guitarist Ted Aguilar.
?I'm excited and everyone involved is excited; not only to play music
with great friends, but to play music for a good cause.?
Mudface?s current lineup is: Chris Dinsmore (vocals), Ted Aguilar
(guitar),
Rich Pia (guitar), Nila (bass), and Danny Stevenson (drums). The band
recently reformed from a two-year hiatus due to the members? duties
with their main bands.

?Mudface is basically a side project for all of us since we all have
our priority bands,? said Aguilar. ?We all share the same thing. We
love to play HEAVY music.?

The proceeds from the Thrash Against Cancer benefit will aid in the
financial recovery for families dealing with life-altering medical
diagnosis. Among the families that will benefit from the concert are
Keith and Brandy Regan, whose son, Cole Regan, was born with cancer
(leukemia / AML) and survived up until three months short of his second
birthday before passing away on July 28, 2004. The show will also help
other families who have who have children with pediatric cancer and are
in severe need of help.

Tickets for the Thrash Against Cancer benefit are on sale now. The
Pound amphitheater is located at 100 Cargo Way- Pier 96 (3rd St). This
is an all ages event (21 years old w/ID to drink). Tickets are $40.00
in advance and are available through Ticketfusion.com and at The Pound
SF?s box office (415-826-5009) as well as www.poundsf.com
