** RECAPS FROM FIRE EATER WIZARD **

On The Metallic Onslaught: There was a rebroadcast of the interview that
Rick had conducted a few weeks back with Noah, the vocalist for Bleed The
Sky (the one where the band was at a drunken party, and Noah told us that
his band mate was distracting him by showing him pics that he had just taken
on his digital camera of his fresh vomit in the toilet), followed up by the
playing of a track from their CD. They're cool. Jeffie arrived, only he was
no longer Jeffie, he was still Thor The Viking. And he brought along with
him another Viking he'd met named Warf. Warf's favorite band seemed to be
The Pushrods. Thor had also brought with him again the giant hammer, and
this night also a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat. (apparently forgetting
the last time he had brought one of those, and how badly that had gone for
him, with his constantly impaling himself, instead of anyone else, on the
barbed wire). Shortly after his arrival, Thor once again forced Joe to
swallow a pill of some kind, and Joe became Ian The Viking again. Thor has a
song which he is want to sing. And these are the lyrics to that song... "I
am a Viking!... I am Thor!... I am a Viking!" That's it. Although Lance
keeps trying to add more lyrics to it, lyrics which are insulting to Jeffie,
err, I mean, Thor, and kind of dumb. Warf seemed to be very enamored of
Lance, repeatedly calling him "pretty woman". Although Ian had ended the
previous week liking Thor for playing a Manowar song, this week he did not
seem to like him much again. Lance left, to get away from Warf's apparent
lust for him. Well, at least it seemed he had left at first... Then he was
back, although his voice seemed to have changed, sounding quite a bit more
feminine. Then an odd thing happened, well, another odd thing in a long line
of odd things that have been happening there lately, that is... A second
Lance arrived, one that sounded more like Lance, but was obviously an
impostor, as Lance was already there. The impostor kept trying to claim that
he was Lance, but the feminine sounding Lance insisted that, um, he?, she?,
it?, was lance and that the Lance sounding Lance was a false Lance. Are you
with me so far? :) Warf didn't like the feminine Lance, but was quite
taken with the false Lance, who left again for awhile to get away from
Warf's affections, and also to get away from Thor. Thor declared that Jeffie
would never be back, as he was going to go on taking the Thor pills forever.
Then he realized that he had forgotten to take one of the Thor pills, and
ran into the bathroom. When he emerged he was Jeffie. Jeffie said that he
had fought off Thor, Ian attacked him immediately, and then, a minute later,
Thor was back, vowing that Jeffie would never be heard from again. Thor and
Warf then went on a hunt for the false Lance, the one Warf was enamoured
with. They went upstairs and nearly collapsed the house the station is in.
The false Lance came back, and when Warf and Thor returned, they immediately
crushed his nuts. Um, let me rephrase that... That is to say, the false
Lance was trying to eat a packet of nuts, and Thor and Warf crushed them
with the giant hammer, turning them into peanut butter. The false Lance then
left, disgusted. Then, somehow, Thor lost the giant hammer. He and Warf went
after the false Lance, looking for the giant hammer, and for the "pretty
woman", that last being from Warf. Then, once again, on their way out, Thor
got into trouble with the barbed wire baseball bat. First he hit himself in
the head with it, and, of course, it got stuck in his head. He got it out of
his head. Then he tried to sling it over his shoulder, impaling himself
again on it. Once free, he promptly got it stuck in his head again. He asked
them to help him get the barbed wire bat out of his head by yanking on it.
But they told him no, they were leaving... Thor said no, they needed to yank
the barbed wire baseball bat out of his head. And that's how the show ended,
with the barbed wire still stuck in Thor's head. Perhaps Jeffie/Thor will
finally learn that Barbed wire baseball bats and he don't mix too well... I
doubt it though... This week... Thor/Jeffie said that he will not be there
this week, as he will be attending a Crisis concert. Hopefully he will have
gotten the barbed wire bat out of his head by the time of the Crisis show.
:) Tune in to see what will happen...

On The Last Exit For The Lost: Three bands were represented on the show that
night. Plus that famous, or infamous, band, The Squirtin' Chubbies,
represented by Just Joe... First up were Merit. They were interviewed and
played three songs, acoustic, on air. They sounded great. Then there,
although not performing this time around, (they hope to next time), was the
band Full Circle, which is what used to be the band Twilight Kingdom, minus
Chris, the drummer. They have a different drummer now. They were there for
the entire night. Just about every track on their CD (and every track on it
was at least 10 minutes long) was played throughout the night. They rock.
And some clips of Tom's visits to LE 10 years ago, (when they were in
Twilight Kingdom), were played from Best Of CD's as well. Also present for
quite awhile was Eric from Missing Marcus. A whole bunch of those crazy and
silly questions from www.theinsanedomain.com were asked and answered. In the
final portion of the show, we got to hear the recording of the performance
of the band Elusive Travel and Never the Sunshine from the big Xtreme
Soundscapes Volume 2 DVD Release Show, three weeks ago, played back. It
sounded great. This week... Tune in to see who will show up, and what will
go on...

I was SO embarrassed today. All of a sudden
I thought of something really funny, just
as I passed a mime performing on the street.
