** RECAPS FROM FIRE EATER WIZARD **

On The Metallic Onslaught:

Thor arrived, and he was incensed. He was deeply offended by a Jizzy Pearl
track they had played earlier. Thor demolished the Jizzy Pearl CD with his
giant hammer. Very thoroughly demolished it. Then he gave Joe his pill,
transforming him into Ian The Viking. Then Thor got into a brawl with Rick
and Lance. Quite a lengthy, violent brawl. Which was how the show ended...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

Just Joe was back. And he claimed that he had been hanging out with the
zombie spiders, and that he was no longer afraid of spiders, in fact, he now
thought they were pretty cool. And, so far, he doesn't seem to be afraid of
spiders any more indeed. Gorgar was also back this night. For Just Joe's
challenge... Old Joe, from The Metallic Onslaught, had donated an item for
The Just Joe Challenge for that week. It was a Play Station 2 that refused
to work for Old Joe any more. So, if Just Joe could survive having it placed
on his chest, and having it struck three times with the giant hammer, to
break it, then Just Joe could pick a song to be played. And so it was done,
and Just Joe survived this pretty well... And the Play Station 2 was quite
broken... However, after it was over, Just Joe did a dumb thing. Well, it is
Just Joe, what else could be expected. He held the beaten down Play Station
2 up to his face to look inside it, as it was broken open... Azkath was
still holding the giant hammer, and whacked the Play Station 2 hard with it
while it was in Just Joe's face. Just Joe had the Play station logo imbedded
in his forehead, but otherwise seemed to be ok. At least at first. However,
it quite soon be came apparent that something was wrong with him. He now had
no short term memory. Well, I know that is nothing new for him, but this was
much worse than usual. His memory now would only last a few seconds. He kept
repeating things over and over, because he couldn't remember that he had
just said or done them. It became clear that something must be done to fix
this, as it was making him even more annoying to be around than usual, and
that's a hard feat to accomplish. They told him that he must go through his
challenge for the night, as he had not done that yet, and, if he wanted to
get a song pick, he must have a challenge. They told him that his challenge
was to survive having a Play Station 2 broken on his chest with the giant
hammer. Just Joe had no memory of having just gone through that a short time
earlier, and agreed to it. He was supposed to get three more hammer blows,
("blows!"), but actually got closer to like eight, as he kept forgetting how
many he had had, which allowed them to trick him into thinking that the
count was much lower than it actually had been. Finally Azkath hit him in
the head again, and, lo and behold!, that worked and Just Joe had his memory
back, or, at least as much memory as he had had before this whole Play
Station 2 incident, which still wasn't much, but at least was more than 2
seconds. Just Joe suspected that he had been hit with the giant hammer many
more than three times, but they denied this. Then a listener requested that
they beat Just Joe with the Play Station 2. Now being that The Last Exit
always honors it's listeners requests, and is there to serve them, of course
they obliged. Just Joe got beaten down with the Play Station 2, quite
thoroughly beaten down. Like I said, The Last Exit aims to make the
listeners happy. Then, later, Just Joe got thoroughly beaten down yet again
with the Play Station 2, because he said that Def Leppard's album "Hysteria"
was cool, and refused to retract that statement. So he got a brutal beat
down for this. He once again had the Play Station logo imbedded in his
forehead. Then Azkath said that he had found something odd in the basement.
Yes, yet another odd thing in the basement, which has become a veritable
treasure trove of odd things. This time the odd thing was a map. Apparently
it had come from some listener or something. But there were no markings or
labels on it, although there was a highlighted area. No one had any idea
what this map meant, or what it was for. Just Joe said that every map needed
to have an X on it, and this one didn't. Azkath drew an X on it for him, on
the highlighted area. Just Joe said that now we were talkin'. Just Joe said
that he was going to take this map, and see where it would lead him. And
that, if he wasn't back next week with a report on where it had lead him,
and what he had found... Well, no one, including Just Joe seemed to know
what that might mean exactly, if he didn't come back, so, I guess we will
all just have to wait and see... In the last portion of the show, the
performance of the band Others, from The Xtreme Soundscapes Volume 2 DVD
Release Show, back on June 4th, was played back, as well as Other's
performance live on LE in January. Both performances sounded great, and it
was good to hear them. This week... The band Angels Beneath Me should be on.
And we'll find out if Just Joe returns or not from his map hunt, and, if he
does return, maybe we'll hear what it yielded. You just never know what will
go on. Tune in and hear...

*****************************************************

Notes from Azkath...

Tonight, on the Metallic Onslaught, Thor will be there. I know, not news,
but it's all I have. It also seems he has taken over Jeffie's MySpace Page.
A Viking using a computer...

On the Last Exit, all I know for sure, is that Angels Beneath Me will be up.
Should be fun... Oh, yeah, I forgot, and there will be a top 10 song
countdown. It will be, the top 10 songs from the end of the world. Tune in
for something you will definitely not hear anywhere else for 6 1/2 years...

NOCTURNE UPDATE: JULY 15, 2005

THE MUSIC FOR FREEDOM TOUR:

Hi everyone! We have just received a ton of new dates for the upcoming
"Music For Freedom Tour", with Mushroomhead, Dope, and Nocturne!
(Crossbreed will also be performing, but only from July 25 - August 14.
When they leave the tour, Pitbull Daycare will join us from August 16 -
August 26.)

Please check the bottom of this e-mail for a complete list of tour dates.
(Oh, and I also should mention that this tour is being sponsored by
JAGERMEISTER, and anyone with a valid military i.d. will get in for FREE!)

STREET TEAM MEMBERS:

Wanna help pass out flyers for this tour at clubs, concerts, and other
places? Please respond with "street team" in the subject line, and please
put the show that you want to promote for in the subject line, too. Put
your first and last name, your street address, city, state, and zip code in
the body of the e-mail. It took a long time for the booking agent to get
the dates to us, so I am NOT going to be using street team members for the
first 14 shows (it's too close to do any kind of real promotion). So
anything starting in Atlanta (August 10th) and on, I will accept street team
members for.

WEB TEAM:

If you spend a lot of time online, then please join our web team. Please
reply with "Web team" in the subject line, and the city you live in. In the
body of the e-mail, please include just your name (any anything else you
want to include). I will send you a web banner, and I'll ask you to go on
MySpace, go to message boards, chat rooms, yahoo groups, and more, to help
spread the word about the tour.

RUNNERS and "TOUR MOMS":

Runners - We need one runner per each city on the tour. A runner's job is
to show up at the club the day of the show at the same time the bands get
there (early afternoon), and stick around for a few hours in case we need
your help with something. That may include taking someone from one of the
bands to Guitar Center, Home Depot, to get food, or any other errand we made
need. You basically just need to have reliable transportation, and must be
available all day, the day of the show. In exchange, you will be allowed to
watch the bands' sound checks, you'll have free admission into the show, and
you'll be able to hang out backstage after Mushroomhead’s performance.
This is a first come first serve basis, so if you are the first one to
e-mail me regarding this, you'll get the job. Again, we only need 1 person
per each city. Please include your full name, home phone number, and cell
phone number in the body of the e-mail. In the subject line, please put
"Runner”, along with the show that you want to be a runner for.

Tour moms: As you can imagine, the cost of touring is astronomical. We are
looking for 1 person in each city to be a "tour mom" for us. The job of
this person is to spend a minimal amount of money and bring food for 4
people (Nocturne), to the venue, early in the day. You should be able to do
this for less than $10. If one person does this for us in each city, this
will save us hundreds of dollars over the course of the tour. You can keep
it simple. Some ideas are: bean burritos, pb&j sandwiches, tuna sandwiches,
bagels and cream cheese, pasta/spaghetti...you get the idea. Again, this is
a first come first serve basis, so if you are the first one to e-mail me
regarding this, you'll get the job. And again, we only need 1 person per
each city. In the subject line, please put “tour mom” and the show that
you want to help out at. In the body of the e-mail, please include your
full name, home phone number, and cell phone number. If you have a
friend/significant other, and one of you wants to be the runner and the
other of you wants to be the tour mom, then we will accept you both (just
include that in your e-mail).

NOCTURNE T-SHIRTS:

BE SURE TO WEAR YOUR NOCTURNE T-SHIRT TO THE SHOW ON THE MUSIC FOR FREEDOM
TOUR!!! Don't have one yet? Go here to get one: www.nocturne.cc/merch.htm
You have until this coming MONDAY to place a t-shirt order. On Tuesday, we
will take the t-shirts off of the Nocturne site, and we will not put them
back up until the tour is over.

Thanks everyone! I'm looking forward to seeing you all on the upcoming
tour!!!

Cheers,

- Lacey

*STEAMHAMMER / SPV - NEW RELEASE*
NUCLEAR ASSAULT "Third World Genocide"

Nuclear Assault were among thrash metal's most socially aware groups, making
room for serious subject matter (and occasional goofs) in their careening
speed metal riffing. They also remained closer to the world of hardcore than
most of their peers, and at their late-'80s peak released some of the most
uncompromising thrash metal offerings of the time.

One of the Big Apple's few challengers (along with Anthrax and Overkill) to
the Bay Area dominance of all things thrash metal, Nuclear Assault became
immediate contenders due to the cumulative sum of its parts not to
mention, their extreme nature and their ability to back it up with solid
musicianship. Produced by metal stalwart Alex Perialas, their first album,
1986's Game Over, was regarded as a breath of fresh air with its potent
speed metal tinged with hardcore overtones. In the process, fans and critics
alike instantly accepted it and the band was quickly off to the races.

In early 2002 the band was approached by a mutual friend to reform for a
couple of shows. Their first reunion show was a the Metal Meltdown in April
and there they found out that their was a demand for the band to continue.
They played the classic NYC venue CBGB in May along with a show in
Massachusetts that was recorded for a live album to be released on SPV in
early 2003.

Currently, Nuclear Assault has just finished a successful tour of South
America with the band Sodom and is preparing for a European tour to support
their first studio album in 10 years called 3rd World Genocide. The album
features 13 tracks performed by core members Lilker, Evans and Connelly
along with Bramante and Burke. Supporting videos are planned for the songs
Long Haired Asshole and Price of Freedom.

Vast Condom Horror in Pacific
30-May-2005

A huge floating reef made up of millions of disposed condoms has been
discovered in the mid Pacific. The condom mass is two miles long, up to
sixty feet deep, and in places so tightly compressed that a small plane
could be landed on it.
The mass was discovered by the Australian Oceanographic Laboratory Outpost
on Macquarie Island in the South Pacific. Scientists there explained that
the accumulation, which consists almost exclusively of condoms, is explained
by a principle of physics called "like aggregation." Like aggregation is
caused by the massing of similar objects due to ocean currents and winds,
the response of the objects to the earth's magnetic field, and other
factors.

The tendency of dust to clump and mass in a house or under a bed is
explained by the same principle.

The Australian scientists are mapping the reef by satellite because it is a
serious marine hazard. The world disposes of an estimated 300 million
condoms a year.

Nearly 1500 Sheep Jump Off Cliff in Turkey

ISTANBUL, Turkey (July 8) - First one sheep jumped to its death. Then
stunned Turkish shepherds, who had left the herd to graze while they had
breakfast,
watched as nearly 1,500 others followed, each leaping off the same cliff,
Turkish media reported.
In the end, 450 dead animals lay on top of one another in a billowy white
pile, the Aksam newspaper said. Those who jumped later were saved as the
pile
got higher and the fall more cushioned, Aksam reported.
"There's nothing we can do. They're all wasted," Nevzat Bayhan, a member of
