** RECAPS FROM FIRE EATER WIZARD **

On The Metallic Onslaught:

Thor arrived with his giant hammer, and began hammering things with it. He
then told everyone that he plans to make Shoebox his trusty steed. Every
Viking needs a trusty steed, after all, and I'm sure Shoebox would make a
fine one! I'm sure Shoebox was thrilled to be awarded so great an honor! I'm
sure he will show up soon because of this, to fulfill his wonderful and
great duty. I mean, how could he not!? Then Thor swung the giant hammer and
Lance threw CD's into it. Thor told Lance that he hated him because he was a
wuss, but that he had good news for him... He was going to give him a chance
to redeem himself, because, as much as he hated Lance, he hated Jeffie even
more. He said that he was suppressing Jeffie, but that Jeffie was constantly
whining (probably to be let out). So, Thor gave Lance a Shaquil O'Neil
Record, and told him that he was going to allow Jeffie out for a few
seconds, long enough for Lance to break the Record over Jeffie's head, and,
thus give Lance a chance to redeem himself, and, Thor hoped, shut up Jeffie.
And so Jeffie was released. He was very happy to be out. Lance went to work
with the Record. It took Lance three shots to break the Record over Jeffie's
head. When this was done, Thor reappeared. Thor said that Jeffie was still
whining in their collective body. Rick wanted to give it a shot (Ha,
literally!). Thor said ok, gave Rick a rap Record, and released Jeffie
again. It only took Rick one shot to demolish the Record over Jeffie's head,
knocking Jeffie out. Thor reappeared and said that now Jeffie was completely
silent, and that he thought, and hoped, that he actually might be dead. Then
Rick made Thor smell a Wings box that stunk badly to retaliate for Thor
suplexing him through a CD wrack and almost through the wall the week
before. Then Thor said that The Demon Azkath had given him something to
bring back to Joe... It was the Play Station 2 that no longer worked for
Joe, which Joe had then so kindly donated to The Last Exit so they could
break it on Just Joe. That Joe! So helpful! So thoughtful! And now it was
being returned. It was broken, but Thor didn't think they had done a very
good job breaking it, and now he was going to break it the way it truly
should be broken. Thor started swinging away at it with the giant hammer.
After he had hit it many times, and it was quite broken, Rick wanted to
once again literally give it a shot. He went to work on it. After he had
given it a thorough going over, they gave it to Joe to have a go at it, it
was his broken Play Station 2, after all, so he should have a hand in it's
total destruction, it was only fair. Thor tried to force the pill down Joe's
throat that would've turned him into Ian The Viking, saying that he would be
able to break it much better after he had taken his pill. However, this time
he was unable to get the pill down Joe. Joe spit it out. Naughty boy! Didn't
he ever learn that it's not good to spit your medicine out!? But, he didn't
really seem to need it, he did quite well taking the giant hammer to the
Play Station 2 on his own. By the time they were all through with it, the
Play Station 2 was quite thoroughly, totally and completely destroyed. There
were Play Station 2 guts and innards all over the place. Oh, the horror! The
inhumanity! The mess! And that was the show...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

Just Joe was not there, and not a word had been heard from him since he took
off with that strange, unmarked map the week before on some kind of a
treasure hunt. So, who knows. Perhaps he is dead. We shall all just have to
wait and see what develops in that regard, stay tuned... The band Angels
Beneath Me were on. www.angelsbeneathme.com and
www.myspace.com/angelsbeneathme are their web sites. They were interviewed
about their upcoming participation in an Xtreme Soundscapes Show. The show
was Thursday, July 28th, and featured Angels Beneath Me, Blood Red Residual,
Black Labeled, Timber Lenk, and Never The Sunshine. I hope all of you in the
area attended! Angels Beneath Me also talked about The upcoming (in August)
Hardcore Barbecue event which will feature 26 bands, as well as, of course,
a barbecue, and lots of other cool stuff. www.hardcorebbq.com is the web
site to check out for all the info on that. Angels Beneath Me also were
asked and gave their answers to many of those questions from
www.theinsanedomain.com, and all four of the tracks on their CD were played.
They're cool. The band was there for about half the show. Then we got a
special treat. As this show was on the 24th of July, it was exactly seven
and a half years to the end of the world on December 23rd, 2012. (well, one
day off from being exact, but close enough, I'm just very precise, so had to
be exact). :) And, in honor of this fact... It seems that the music
industry has developed the technology and the methodology at that point to
know exactly what will be the top 10 songs that we will all be listening to
when the world ends... Some of them haven't even been recorded yet, but,
nonetheless, Azkath was able to find out what they will be. And so they were
counted down and played, well, the ones that exist, that is. There were some
astonishing things about the list. Tomato Monkey was number five. The
Pushrods actually had the number three song, and this was because,
apparently at a Warped Tour in the future, Richie blows a big fire ball, and
wipes out the bands Green Day and Blink 182. Well that would certainly earn
them the well deserved honor of having the third most listened to song when
the world ends! We are all very happy for them and their upcoming great
success! Congratulations guys! The count down also included songs by Cradle
Of Filth, Slayer, and Chimaira. And the number one song that we will all be
listening to as we all go out together?? Why Monty Python's "Always Look On
The Bright Side Of Life" of course, what else could it be? In the final
portion of the show, two performances by the band Future 86 (formerly Pretty
Suicide) were played back. First their Performance live and acoustic on LE
from a few weeks back, and then their performance at The Xtreme Soundscapes
Volume 2 DVD Post Release Show, back on June 11th. They sounded great and
rocked. And so that was LE for the week... This week... Well, perhaps we'll
hear something from Just Joe, like if he's still alive, and how his treasure
hunt is going, and if he's found any treasure. And who knows who may show
up, and what may happen. Tune in to find out all of these things, and,
possibly, even more, one just never knows...

*******************************************************************

Notes from Azkath

I hear word that The Anti-Joe Army may make an appearance on The Last Exit
this week. I have not heard from Just Joe in over a week. I wonder if this
is coincidence... There are also other rumors of appearances, but since
those rumored to appear, tend to suck and fail to appear... We will all
just have to wait and see before I get anyone's hopes up...

WORM QUARTET RARE THINGY ON EBAY NEWS
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
While cleaning my basement, I found a few copies of Worm
Quartet's original 1996 demo tape, "Urine Sampler," which I'd
thought was completely sold out. So as an experiment to see if
people actually like me enought to buy "collectable" WQ
thingies, I've put on on eBay. Maybe 2-3 dozen of these exist
in reality, and I suspect at least half of those are resting in
thrift stores, dumpsters, or melted plastic puddles in the back
seats of cars.

Wanna bid? Go here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4750426503

Don't wanna bid? Go somewhere else.

"INNER VOICE" STILL KICKING UNHOLY ASS ON DR. DEMENTO NEWS
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
"Inner Voice," my collaboration with the e'er-wonderous Sudden
Death, is still in the running for the most requested song of
the year! Wanna hear it again? Get thine ass to
www.drdemento.com and click on "Request a Song?"

Yu can hear a streaming mp3 by going forth to
http://www.wormquartet.com and clicking on "music," but
hopefully you already knew that.

Wanna buy it on CD? Mosey over to http://www.suddendeath.org
and pick up a copy of his new CD, "Die Laughing." It's without
a doubt the best comedy album I've heard this year.

WORM QUARTET APPEARANCE ON LUKE SKI'S THINGY NEWS
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The Great Luke SKi, known by die-hard militant Worm Quartet fans
as "The guy who beat out 'Frank's Not In The Band Anymore' on
the Dr. Demento show in 2002" and known by fanboys and fangirls
around the country as "The guy what makes the funny sci-fi songs"
has released a compilation of all his Star Wars songs called "May
The Farce Be With You." I collaborated with Luke on the intro
track, a thingy called "Just Say No To Midichlorians," and I
also did the voice of George Lucas in a skit on the album. You
can check out this thingy at http://www.lukeski.com if'n you wanna.
It also contains Luke's 12-minute epic "Grease Wars," which is
one of the most impressively geeky things ever created.

I'm also appearing on Luke's upcoming new CD, cuz it turns out he
likes me for some reason. Or maybe he's just afraid of me cuz I'm
bigger than him.

ODOR NEWS
=-=-=-=-=
My left nipple smells like my right nipple, my right nipple smells
like my thermostat, my thermostat smells like Fabio, and Fabio got
smacked in the face with a goose once, so it all comes full circle.
Or it would if it did, anyway.

Okay, I've gotta rush this thing off and get my ass to WITR! Hope
you're all feeling just ducky about life and hope to see at least
some of you at my shows next month!

Glee on a stick,
-=ShoEboX=-

DVD 2:
Information Warfare
To round out the conceptual base of the project, William Morrisson hit the
road in America and Europe to shoot a documentary called "Information
Warfare". William visited former Attorney General Ramsey Clark in N.Y.C., he
travelled to Capitol Hill in Washington to speak with the Gulf War Veterans
resource centre and enlisted the help of Iraqi filmmaker Duraid Mujanim who
travelled to Iraq with camera's after the recent occupation began. The
result is a shocking expose revealing the truth about civilian casualties in
Iraq and the coalition’s use of Depleted Uranium as a weapon in the
battlefield.

Eurotrauma
The segment titled "Eurotrauma" revisits Puppy on tour in Europe in 1988.
Culled from tapes shot primarily by the late Dwayne Rudolph Goettel and
compiled and edited by Ogre himself, this thirty minute segment is a day by
day log of the tour from the bands point of view. Everything from life back
stage and in the hotel to the band confronting the Berlin Wall before it was
torn down. Along with a lot of highly entertaining footage of the band is
rare footage of the live shows themselves.

Archive Material
There are even more film segments which showcase footage of two more
legendary Puppy tours. "Too Dark Park" and "Last Rights". These shows were
filmed in 16mm by Jim Vanbebber (Charlie's Family and “Spasmolytic” video
clip). Jim and friends appeared at these shows armed with a few bolex
cameras and ripped on Hallucinogens. The result is a window on two legendary
performances and footage that has never been seen by anyone before.
