** RECAPS FROM FIRE EATER WIZARD **
On The Metallic Onslaught:
There was no Metallic Onslaught last week. Tune in this week to hear what
will happen...
On The Last Exit For The Lost:
Present on this night were, Just Joe, Gorgar, a dude called Beelzebub, the
band Rabid, and Way, and Way's dog. Way, as you regular and long time
listeners may and should remember, is the guy who organizes and brings you
Musefest (which he has been doing for six years now), every Labor Day
weekend, which was what he was there to talk about and promote.
http://www.musefest.org is the web site to check that festival of
independent music out and get all the information on it. Last year, as some
of you regular and long time listeners may also remember, when Way was
there, Rub McGroin was also there, and kept making jokes about Way's name...
Every time someone would mention that Way was going to be on, Rub would go
"no! Way!?, Way! No Way!?"... Rub was supposed to be on this night, but,
failed to show up, (probably because he was too drunk), :) and Just Joe is
not smart enough to think of the incredibly clever wit it takes to come up
with that kind of humor, so, the opportunity for that joke was missed this
year. Maybe next time. Way brought his dog with him. Just Joe's hugging
music started playing, and Just Joe went around the room hugging everyone,
all the members of Rabid, Way, and even Way's poor dog, which, fortunately
for Just Joe, (and unfortunately for all the rest of us), was a calm dog,
and so, did not do what it should have done, (and what many dogs would have
done if approached and hugged by a stranger who is too stupid to know that
it might not be wise to touch animals which you don't know), bite Just Joe,
thus depriving us all of what could have been a truly great radio moment.
The band Rabid were interviewed, and the tracks from their CD were played.
http://www.myspace.com/rabid666 check them out there. They were also asked
and answered those insanedomain.com questions. We got to hear about Just
Joe's adventure at one of the Xtreme Soundscapes shows earlier in the week.
Just Joe wanted and tried to get revenge on Mark of Divinity Destroyed, for
all the times Mark has made him bleed. He tried to attack Mark with a
stuffed monkey and a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat. He did hit Mark with
the stuffed monkey, (he wasn't smart enough to know apparently that he
should have started with the barbed wire bat). And then Mark clobbered him
in the head with the end of the guitar with all the knobs and strings
sticking out of it, giving Just Joe a very deep gash on his forehead, which
he was still wearing a bandage on. See what you miss if you don't attend
these shows!? Why that alone, not to mention all the great music, is more
than worth the low price of admission! Rabid had brought with them lots of
Rabid stickers, and so it was decided that it was time to bring back that
popular event from last year, and cover Just Joe with stickers, and then
send him out to meet and greet people. So they covered Just Joe in the
stickers, (although one of the members of Rabid apparently is afraid of
stickers, and hates to touch them, and so wouldn't participate in putting
the stickers on Just Joe. Now there's a phobia that I hadn't heard of yet),
and sent him out. When Just Joe returned, we found out that it hadn't gone
as well for him this year as it had last year... Last year we all learned
that, apparently girls love guys covered in stickers, as every girl Just Joe
encountered then hugged him (usually everyone is trying desperately to get
away from his hugs). However, this year, Just Joe encountered a street riot
that happened to be going on, and also some cops who apparently thought that
Just Joe had caused the riot (now why would they ever think such a thing
about poor innocent Just Joe???). Just Joe rushed back to the station and
hastily removed the stickers, wanting to get rid of any evidence that he had
been the one outside. They asked Just Joe if he had found his shiny yet.
Just Joe got pouty and said that no, he hadn't, they had hidden it too well.
He still was not grateful to them for doing such a good job of hiding his
precious shiny. In the last portion of the show, we got to hear the
performances of Worm Quartet and Robot Goes Here, from The Xtreme
Soundscapes Show, from August 18th, (which you all should have attended,
and, if you didn't, shame on you!), played back in their entirety. It was
great to hear them, and they sounded awesome. This week... Who knows what
will go on, but something always does, so tune in to hear it...
*******************************************************************
Notes from Azkath...
This week, yes, well, The Metallic Onslaught will be back, and maybe so will
Pe'pe? Or Maybe Thor? Or Jeffie? Or someone new perhaps? Or no one at all...
Who knows... Ah, the life of a strange clone...
On The Last Exit... It seems like I had something planned, but now that I
really think about that, it isn't likely. We will just have to see if I did
or not when Saturday night rolls around.
On the Xtreme Soundscapes front, Vol III should be out mid-October. We are
looking for the release show to be Oct 15th at The Haunt. More info when
things get confirmed.

Divinity Destroyed...
Prepare for gigantism...
The circle is now complete. As a result of our hearty ditties, the
gavel-bangers of WRAT 95.9's band search have declared us worthy of playing
Gigantour tomorrow with Megadeth, Dream Theater, Fear Factory, Dillinger
Escape Plan, Life of Agony, and thousands more.
Of course, if it weren't for our having some of the most rabid and
bloodthirsty fans this side of South American soccer, we'd be spending
tomorrow night at home, watching informercials. And to show our thanks,
we've uploaded an unmastered version of Haven on our MySpace page and the
lyrics for the new songs in The Fleshquarter Chronicles.
And speaking of tight assets, our friends and fluffers, Beyond the Flesh,
will be playing Starland Ballroom on Friday, September 2nd with Obituary and
Napalm Death. But making this night super ichiban will be our very own Mark
Ward, filling in on bass. This may be a one night only phenomenon as they
are currently auditioning Mario Lopez for the permanent position, so catch
it while you can! E-mail band@... for tickets and more info.
Tickets for our show with the Misfits and Balzac on Saturday, October 29th
are also now available. So if you or anyone you know is in need, hit Reply
and demand satisfaction.
Good times,

Everything was fine as we watched the big white
bear frolicking with the smaller females at the
zoo. Then that same male attempted to climb the
back of another male and the ensuing bloody fight
caused entire families to run shrieking in the
other direction. Only then did I truly understand
the insidious effects of bipolar disorder.
