On The Metallic Onslaught:

Lance did some more funny black metal vocals which cracked everyone up. At
the end of the prior weeks Onslaught, Jeffie had been in control of the body
he shares. However, when said body arrived this week, apparently Pepe had
somehow managed to regain control during the week, because it was he who
showed up. He started calling Lance sexy and molesting him again. Lance
attacked him with records breaking them over Pepe's head. He knocked Pepe
out. When the body came to, Thor was in control of it. Thor started
insulting Lance and arguing with him. Lance said that he wanted Pepe back,
that at least he didn't talk back to him. This sent Thor off into an
absolutely frenzied rage. He attacked Lance, thoroughly hell bent on killing
him, trying to throw him through the window over and over again, slamming
him into the window each time he tried to do this in the process... Then he
splashed him several times (just in case anyone reading this doesn't know,
"splash" here does not mean with a liquid, but the wrestling move, just for
you poor deprived non wrestling fans). :) Then he just kept stomping on
Lance. Eventually, Lance was rescued. (Lance said that he thought Thor had
broken his spleen, fortunately, the spleen is an expendable organ, like the
appendix, or tonsils, a small medical lesson for you here, just another one
of the many services this show provides) Jeffie was in control at the next
break. He apologized for Thor's actions, and told them that they must never,
never say that again. They said "say what again?". Jeffie said "that they
wanted Pepe back". That did it. Thor was back still in a frenzied rage
screaming "LANCE MUST DIE!!!". He charged Lance. Lance told him that he had
never said such a thing, that Joe had said it. Thor screamed "JOE MUST
DIE!!!", and charged Joe. Joe told him that Rick had been the one who had
said the terrible thing. I'm sure you can guess what's coming next... Yup,
you got it... Thor screamed "RICK MUST DIEEE!!!!" and charged Rick. Rick
told him that Lance had said it. Thor screamed and charged Lance... Lance
sent him back to Joe, who sent him back to Rick, who sent him back to Lance,
and so on and so forth... After about two or three minutes of this, Thor
seemed to suffer a complete melt down... I'm not sure who exactly it was
that had control of the body at that point, because by that time, there was
no longer any control of any sort left... But, whoever it was, was down on
the floor, shaking all over, and Whimpering "no, Pepe, no Pepe, no Pepe"
over and over... Lance attacked this poor thing, whoever it was now, beating
it brutally with a steel chair and some more records. One of these records
was a Commodore's Record. When Lance saw that he had broken the song "Easy
Like Sunday Morning", he became even more enraged. We learned that
apparently Lance loves that song, and he now blamed Jeffie/Thor/Pepe/who
knows who else, for causing it's destruction. He attacked whoever it was
again breaking more records over it... They thought that perhaps the body
and all it's personalities might be dead, but it began to stir again,
sounding like Pepe, so they all left, leaving it there... Who knows who will
have possession of the body this week... And, remember people, MO now has a
chat room too! We have yet to have had our 1st visitor, what are you waiting
for people?? You're passing up a great experience! Drop by and say hi! We're
all waiting for you. Don't be afraid, it's lots of fun! :)

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

On this show were: Just Joe, Gorgar, and some other special guests... There
was once again Pushrods representation on the show after quite awhile with
none, as Ron, the bass player was there. The band Missing Marcus were there.
They were interviewed, promoted upcoming concerts of theirs, and played some
of their songs live and acoustic on the air. http://www.missingmarcus.com is
their web site. They sounded great. They also participated in another group
hug with Just Joe. And there was also someone there whom we hadn't heard
from in 10 months... Fritz. Now, the last time we had heard from Fritz, Just
Joe had abducted him and glued him to the seat of his car. Apparently he had
finally managed to get himself free after all this time. :) They told
Fritz that this was his chance to get revenge on Just Joe. They spent some
time trying to figure out just what might be the best way to accomplish
this. They decided that a brutal beat down is always good. Azkath and Fritz
beat Just Joe severely with a steel chair, a crutch, and a record. It was a
prolonged beating with many vicious chair shots. Then, at the next talk
break, both Just Joe and Fritz were gone. However, soon there was a phone
call... It was Fritz... He said that he had abducted Just Joe, and now had
him Duct taped up in his car. Just Joe confirmed that this was indeed true.
However, instead of being traumatized by the experience, which was what
Fritz had intended, Just Joe seemed to be enjoying it. They asked Fritz what
he was going to do now with Just Joe. Fritz didn't seem to be too sure. Just
Joe had a few suggestions, he wanted to know if they could go over Niagara
Falls in the car. They told Fritz that he should set the car and Just Joe on
fire. Just Joe didn't seem to have much of a problem with that either, he
seemed to be pretty ok with it. Fritz said that he was going to take Just
Joe somewhere, he just needed to figure out where... He and Just Joe began
discussing just where this should be, with Just Joe making more
suggestions... Who knows what they decided on, and if Just Joe will survive,
and, if so, if he'll make it back this week... I'm quite sure he probably
will survive, no one has managed to keep him dead for very long yet... He,
like cockroaches, is extremely hard to get rid of... But the cockroaches are
smarter than he is, as well as preferable to him... :) The Featured Artist
of the night, to end the show was Savatage... And thus went LE for the
week... Tune in this week to hear whatever, and whoever, transpires...

Notes from Azkath...

So this week, I believe that Thor/Jeffie/Pepe will not be at The Metallic
Onslaught this week, they said something about getting some help before it
was too late.

On the Last Exit, well, should be interesting... We will have Crow from The
Pushrods (www.PushrodsRock.com), a band from Detriot, Choking Susan,
www.chokingsusan.com, who are also on MySpace
(www.myspace.com/chokingsusan). As well, Bone Jar (www.bone-jar.com) will be
up to promote the fact that they will be headlining our Xtreme Soundscapes
Vol III Release Show in one week. Next Saturday, to be exact. The show
starts at 5pm, don't miss it, and don't be late because there are only a
limited number of XS III DVD's. Of course, the other bands playing include
Angels Beneath Me, A Day Without Rain, inRed, and Divinity Destroyed. And
after that show, some of the bands will be up to The Last Exit...

probably has something to do with the fact that me and the
wife are trying to buy a house, I'm working overtime, and
my 11-month-old son has recently forgotten how to sleep!

HURRICANE KATRINA CHARITY COMPLILATION NEWS

Worm Quartet will be contributing a hitherto-unreleased
track to the upcoming "LAUGHTER IS A POWERFUL WEAPON,
VOL. 2" charity CD. Here's the official blurb on it and
a request for donations to offset the pressing costs:

By now you have probably heard about the upcoming charity
album LAUGHTER IS A POWERFUL WEAPON Vol. 2 (FUNNY MUSICIANS
FOR A SERIOUS CAUSE) being put together by Grant Baciocco
of Throwing Toasters and Jean Prior of Druidsfire
Productions.

The disc features recordings by folks such as the Great
Luke Ski, the Nick Atoms, Worm Quartet, the Hot Waffles,
Barnes & Barnes, Tom Smith, and the Brobdingnagian Bards.
All (and we mean *all*) proceeds are going directly to aid
the victims of Hurricane Katrina via the American Red
Cross. The disc is now in the production stage,
and it is at this time where the producers ask your help.

Production of the CD will cost approximately $1500. We are
beginning to collect the pressing costs for the CD thanks
to private donations. What we are in need of now is
approximately 30 "angels" who would be willing to donate $50
each towards the pressing costs so that we may move forward.
Those who donate $50 will have their name in the "thanks"
section of the liner notes and will receive a copy of the
benefit CD. All money raised above our $1500 goal will be
donated to the charity.

WORM QUARTET / PLAN 15 SPLIT 7"
I've talked to Blankmind Records and verified that this
IS still happening, but it has once again been delayed.
I have no idea when it will be coming out. The songs are
recorded, the album art is complete, and I got the liner
notes tattooed backwards on my ass so that all I have to
do is sit on a copier and print them out.

SUMOPHOBIA RE-RELEASE
I have a bit more mixing to do, one song to finish
re-recording, and the new art is in the works.

A WORM QUARTET TRIBUTE TO GORDON LIGHTFOOT
Unfortunately, recording my Sousa-twinged synth-country/
death salsa/Bulgarian banjo-ska version of "The Wreck of
the Edmund Fitzgerald" caused all of my equipment to melt
into a thick tannish gel which repels silverfish and smells
strangely like burning Aqua-Fresh. So I'm halting
production, much to the dismay of scheduled guest vocalists
Tim Armstrong and Fran Drescher.

And...drum roll...

NEW WQ ALBUM, TITLE TBA
Recording is in progress, and so far it's sounding great...
definitely some of the best songs I've ever written. I'm
excited as hell about this. I've got some ideas in mind for
the title and cover art, but suggestions are welcome and
should be submitted by e-mail to shoebox@....
I'm planning on a February 2006 release, but that doesn't
mean you should.

ODOR NEWS

I used my wife's conditioner this morning, so my mullet
smells like fruit. This confuses me, since my wife's hair
does NOT smell like fruit. Does conditioner react
differently with mullets than it does with non-mullets?
Or did my son throw up in the conditioner bottle after
eating too much applesauce? Discuss. Or better yet, don't.

Holy crap, this is a long update. But if you read every
word, you're no doubt a better person now. Thanks as
always for your support! I hope you're all having
wonderful days chock-full of cookies and lint, and
hopefully a few of you will show up at my damned Syracuse
show next weekend.

our favorite holiday, and this year we want to spend it with you. After
much debate, we have decided on the movies we will be showing. The event
starts at 11am with ?Robot Monster,? declared by some to be the worst movie
ever made. At 12:30 will be the silent film classic, ?Nosferatu,? with an
all-new score by Kevin Kober. Last, but definitely least, we will be
showing the most famous horror film of all time, ?Night of the Living
Dead.?

There will also be music videos by local horror rockers, "Others", film
shorts, and give-aways. You can see all the movies for free with museum
admission of $6. You bring yourself, and we?ll bring the refreshments.

SUN DESCENDS NEWS

NYC's Sun Descends parted ways with their drummer, Ojayy. The band was
experiencing problems with Ojayy during the recording sessions of their
full-length cd, "Incinerating the meek", scheduled to be released 02/06, via
www.twilight-distribution.com. SD finally decided to let Ojayy go due to his
lack of commitment to the band.

Mem: "You can only be in this band if you give it 150%, otherwise SD is not
the place where people can coast. Ojayy is a good guy and we wish him the
best for the future but it's all about the work ethic."
Ojayy's replacement is Chris Torre from Staten Island, New York! Pics & bio
soon on SD site!
The band is currently auditioning a 2nd guitarist for their up coming Euro
tour in 06.

SD has also just finished shooting their first video clip for the song
"Intercepting Daggers",which will be featured as bonus on the new cd

Danzig reports that "Blackest of the Black" will be his last tour.

"I'm done after this tour," he said. "Maybe I'll change my mind and do some
local shows. I don't want to tour anymore. Unless I change my mind — I might
just take a break for two or three years. I'm just burned out on it. I don't
enjoy it anymore. I love being onstage. But the other 22 hours of the day,
spent bouncing around on a bus — I don't know anymore. I'll still be doing
music, because that's my first love. But no more tours. This is it."
