On The Metallic Onslaught:
Jeffie, Thor The Viking, Pepe, and anyone else who may inhabit that body,
were all not there, as, whoever had control of that body then, they didn't
bring it to the show, and so, hence, none of them were there. Or, perhaps it
still hadn't recovered from it's total melt down of the week before. Lance
did some more of his black metal vocals, Zach Wild and King Diamond
parodies. And, once again, the chat room had yet to have it's first visitor.
Come on, people! Are you really that afraid of us!?!? No need to be, I
promise! :) As the only person hosting it last week, I spent the whole
night there all by my lonesome. You should've dropped by and kept me
company... :)
On The Last Exit For The Lost:
This show was divided up between two bands. Well, actually, three bands, as
there was once again Pushrods representation. Last week, Ron, the bass
player for the Pushrods was there, and, this week, Crow, their drummer, was
there. The third member of that band, Richie, Vocalist and guitarist, who
used to be a very frequent guest, well, his mom won't allow him to be there
anymore, apparently, :) so I guess we won't be hearing from him any more.
Crow brought with him a band who had performed on a show with The Pushrods
the night before, Choking Susan. They and Crow were there for about the
first half of the night. They were interviewed, and gave their answers to
lots of those theinsanedomain.com questions. We also got to hear several
tracks from their CD played. They were cool. They also participated in
another group hug with Just Joe when his Hugging Music played. This was also
the first time that Crow had experienced Just Joe's Hugging Music, as he
hasn't been there in a while. He was not very pleased with the experience.
The band Bonejar were there for the second half of the night. They were
there to talk about and promote the fact that they will be one of the five
bands who will be performing at The Xtreme Soundscapes Volume 3 DVD Release
Show... And, Just Joe is vowing that he will get his revenge on Mark of
Divinity Destroyed there for all the times he's made him bleed, bleed A LOT.
Of course, Just Joe said that last time, at The Xtreme Soundscapes Show in
Binghamton, And Mark totally destroyed Just Joe, bashing him in the forehead
with his guitar. Just Joe still has the scar from that one. So, it's a
pretty good bet that Just Joe will probably end up bleeding again this time,
and you don't want to miss that! And, perhaps, Just Joe's band, The
Squirtin' Chubbies, will attempt to perform again... :) All of you in the
area should attend this! Support the local and independent music scene, hear
lots of great music, probably see Just Joe bleed, and have a great time! You
can't beat that! Bonejar were interviewed, gave their answers to those
theinsanedomain.com questions, and we heard many tracks from their CD
played. They rocked. http://www.bone-jar.com and
http://www.myspace.com/bonejar are the web sites where you can check them
out. Bonejar, like Choking Suzan had done earlier in the night, participated
in a group hug with Just Joe when his Hugging Music played. Both bands
seemed to enjoy it, only Crow did not. Gorgar was also present on this
night. In the final portion of the show, the feature was music from the
bands who will be performing at The Xtreme Soundscapes Volume 3 DVD Release
Show, which, I'm sure, you all will be attending! How on earth could you
not!?!?!? This week, Divinity Destroyed will be on after their performance.
They will be bringing some brand new music with them, and, they will
probably be able to talk about how they made Just Joe bleed... Again... And
who knows how many of the other bands on that show may show up. Will be a
great show. Tune in...
**********************************************************************
Notes from Azkath...
Of course, this Saturday is The Xtreme Soundscapes Volume III Release Show
at The Haunt. Angels Beneath Me, A Day Without Rain, inRed, Divinity
Destroyed, and Bone Jar at The Haunt, starting at 5pm, it's only $5 for over
21, and $7 Under. Free XS DVD's while they last, so make sure you get there
early... Also, some other giveaway stuff will be there... CD's, Posters,
and more... Afterwards, at the Last Exit, some of the bands should be up,
AND it will be the, well, world debut of the new Divinity Destroyed EP...

Music News
BLACK N BLUE UPDATE:
This in from Z Records - The release of Black n Blue's come back release
Hell Yeah! has been delayed over recent months due to delays logistically
and in the studio. Jaime has moved to LA from Portland and the album will be
finished there over the forthcoming months, watch this space.
That's what the record label wants you to know. Here's what Black N Blue
frontman Jamie St. James says on his website: "It's been two long years and
still waiting. First off it's a slow go with Z-Records to say the least.
What I mean is, receiving the money to get this thing done.
Also on our end, Jef "woop" Warner is re-locating his studio, so all I can
say is what a fucking mess! What we have done so far is great shit but
patience is needed at this point. Jef is a great engineer and he and I have
written some classic B'N B music. Patrick has some very cool bass lines on
the record and we hope to have Pete Holmes kick some ass as well. (So far I
played all the drums.) Our replacement for Tommy is Shawn Sunninshine who
fits in great. My priorities are with Warrant now but I will finish this
record for B'N B. and it will not disappoint. Let me give you a few song
titles to wet your appetite:
1. You're My Monkey; 2. Angry Drunk Son Of A Bitch; 3. Fools Bleed; 4.
Target; 5. Hail, Hail; 6. Hell Yeah; 7. World Goes 'Round; 8. So Long."
Jamie continues: "So hang in there you hard core B'N B fans. You've only
waited 17 years for a new studio recording, and I'm not sure if we can make
it worth the wait but were giving it one "Hell Yeah" of a shot. I'll keep
you posted!"
Just added to the site is a full length preview of a track from the album -
You're My Monkey
TIGERTAILZ CULT ALBUMS FINALLY GET AMERICAN RELEASE:
(New York, NY - 10 Oct. 2005) In 1990 Welsh hard rock heroes Tigertailz
unleashed an album that would raise the standard for independent metal
albums of the era. Bezerk, released on the UK's Music for Nations imprint,
featured such anthems as Noize Level Critical, Sick Sex and the band's
calling card, Love Bomb Baby, all of which helped fuel the album to over a
quarter of a million worldwide sales as well as MTV attention, Gallup (UK)
charting singles and two Top 3 home videos. "That was one hell of a time",
reflects guitarist, Jay Pepper. "It seemed like just about everything was
going our way - the only market that eluded us, oddly enough, was America!"
Fifteen years later, Sanctuary Music has finally made that realization a
reality with the North American release of not only Bezerk but that album's
follow up, Banzai (a Japanese only compilation released through Sony Music
in 1991) on October 11 at a special sale price of $10.99 each.
Frontman Kim Hooker says, "Finally our American fans will be able to walk
into a record store and be able to pick up our albums and not have to wait
for them to arrive from an import shop someplace. I'm thinking of flying
over there just so I can do that myself!"
Recently featured in Classic Rock magazine as part of their "Welcome Back
..." series via an interview with bassist, Pepsi Tate, Tigertailz have also
completed work on the long awaited Bezerk 2.0 and are looking to do shows
Stateside in mid 2006.

Leviathan Records quick news update
Eric Johns has become the new lead vocalist for SOUTHERN GENTLEMEN.
Eric previously appeared on the Cincinnati based Simple Aggression Cd
"Gravity." Band founder David T. Chastain states: "Eric has the voice I
have been looking for the past few years to take the music to the next
level. While I was always a fan of his vocals, I didn't know he could
do the heavy blues based rock so well. Also just in...... Bassist Dave
Swart joins former Simple Aggression bandmate vocalist Eric Johns in
Southern Gentlemen. Band leader David T. Chastain explains, "Adding
Dave just made sense with his background with Eric and his former blues
rock band from a few years back called East Southern." "With this Cd
trending heavier than the past 2 Southern Gentlemen Cds, Dave's
experience with both styles seems the perfect fit." The new Cd was
recently mixed by metal master Christian Schmid at the Music Factory in
Germany.
VAINGLORY are also in the studio working on their follow up to "2050."
Band leader/guitarist Corbin King says "I am really excited about
furthering the sound of band into a monster second release. The new
stuff really sounds killer." No firm release date has been set on this
new Cd but an early 2006 release is most likely. Chastain vocalist Kate
French is currently laying down the vocals. Fast, heavy and furious is
a fair description of the musical direction of the new Cd.

BIOHAZARD guitarist/vocalist Billy Graziadei confirmed that the band's
recently released tenth album, "Means to an End", will also be their last:
BIOHAZARD are splitting up.

Sometime next month, Infinity Broadcasting will announce that David Lee Roth
is taking over for Howard Stern. The one-time lead singer of VAN HALEN will
assume the microphone in New York and several other markets where Stern's
show is heard. Still not set is where Adam Carolla, former co-host of "The
Man Show", will be in place, but sources close to the action tell me that
Roth and Carolla will not be together

NOCTURNE NEWS

Hey Guys!
Lacey, here! What the fuck is up? The MUSIC FOR FREEDOM TOUR just ended a
couple of weeks ago, and then I went to Dallas to spend some time with my
Dad, and now I am back home in Los Angeles. I just wanted to give you guys
a huge, gigantic THANK YOU for coming out to the shows and showing your
support! We had so much fun touring with Dope (and sharing a bus with
them!) and Mushroomhead, and this was definitely the most successful tour
we've done, so far! It was so great meeting so many of you, and seeing old
faces/friends again, and I truly appreciate your role in making this tour
successful!
Also, we had some problems with our online orders, but we've since had it
fixed. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused some of you. If
you ordered CDs from us and have not received them yet, you will get them by
the end of this week. Thanks for being so patient.
If you have not ordered CDs from us yet, but would like to, I am offering a
new deal that if your package is not POSTMARKED within 4 days of the time
that you order it, you will get your CDs for free. Please go to the
Nocturne web site (www.nocturne.cc) and order CDs from us if you have not
done so yet.
I also am back on the message board, so if you have posted, or if you would
like to post, please go here, as I have answered a lot of them tonight:

As for our plans, Chris and I are going to write new material this fall and
winter, and we plan on touring the U.S. in the spring time!
Thanks again, everyone, for all of your support in our band! I wish you all
the best!
SINcerely,
