Jeffie, or whoever had control of that body on that night, none of them were
there. And, this week, Rick and Lance will both not be there, as they will
be attending a concert, from which, I'm sure we will be hearing interviews
conducted at this concert soon. Look forward to that. Tune in this week to
hear what goes on...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

As this show pretty directly followed the big Xtreme Soundscapes Volume 3
DVD Release concert, (which was enjoyed by all lucky enough to be in
attendance, and was quite well attended this time, good job people, next
time, lets see even more of you there! More on that show shortly), everybody
in the world was there. Well, not quite everybody. The band inRed (one of
the bands who had just performed on the Xtreme Soundscapes Show) was
supposed to be there, but, apparently, disappeared somewhere between The
Haunt and the radio station, because they never showed up. Not that the room
was hurting for people, or bands, but, hey, the more the merrier, right? And
the band Divinity Destroyed, who had also just performed at The Xtreme
Soundscapes Show, and who had also planned to be on the radio this night...
Weeelll... That didn't quite pan out either... And, the reason for that is
because, well, Just Joe finally made good on his word, and finally got some
revenge on Mark of Divinity Destroyed for all the times he has made him
bleed so very much. Just Joe had promised that he would finally have his
revenge at this concert, and no one, including me, believed him, we all
scoffed at him. However, this time, at least, Just Joe proved us all wrong.
After Divinity Destroyed had finished their set, and were packing up their
stuff, Just Joe ambushed Mark, attacked him with two cookie sheets and
totally beat him down. This time it was Mark who ended up bleeding a lot,
and Just Joe, not at all, a fact which Just Joe was very proud of and
bragged much about. Before Mark was rendered unconscious by Just Joe, and
while he was lying bleeding on the ground, Mark kept grabbing his crotch and
screaming Just Joe's name. And so this was why Divinity Destroyed were
unable to make it to the radio show that night. Some of the band did call in
for an interview. But not Mark, as they said that he was still unconscious
and bleeding. We did still get to hear their entire new EP played. Well, not
all new songs, but, 3 new songs, and three acoustic versions of old songs.
It was cool. So, in their meetings, I think it now stands: Mark making Just
Joe bleed three times, and Just Joe making Mark bleed once, but, hey, Just
Joe is gaining. Divinity Destroyed did say that Mark would be back, and
would have revenge, (after he comes to and recovers, of course) possibly
involving a shot gun, which could have the potential for a lot more blood,
we shall see. Alright, now let me get to the daunting task of naming all the
people and bands who were there. For the first talk break, If Man Is Five
were there to chat briefly. And, at the end of the night, Missing Marcus
dropped by and were there for about three breaks. And, during and between
that were, Chris and Pat of Lotus Project, Shane formerly of Bent Peg, The
Electric Vodka Dude, someone whom we haven't heard from in a long while Rub
McGroin, The Penguin, and Handy/Handjob/The Hand Puppet Of Doom. There! I
think I got everybody in there! Just Joe's Hugging Music was played many
times this night, and he went around the room hugging the many many people
that were present. Some liked it, others didn't like it so much. Electric
Vodka Dude does not like being hugged by Just Joe at all, and, at one point,
Just Joe was smothering him in the corner. Then, The Penguin took Just Joe
outside. After awhile, she came back, but Just Joe never did for the rest of
that night, so, who knows. They tried to ask The Penguin what she had done
with him, but Penguins are apparently not good at explaining things at all,
because, she talked and talked, and we still never did find out just what
had happened to Just Joe. So, the next time Just Joe's Hugging Music was
played, The Penguin filled in for him, and went all around the room stabbing
everyone with pens. And she also kept getting into tug of wars for Handy.
Also, apparently, someone farted during one of the chaotic struggles, and
the smell was apparently very bad, or at least it was for Handy, because he
went on and on about how he was in extreme agony from the awful odor. Then,
Shane from Bent Peg took The Penguin away, and neither of them were seen
again that night. Tracks from all the bands present that night CD's were
played. And the feature artist ending the night was Emperor... And, there
was also an interesting and amazing occurrence in the chat room. You may and
should remember the night of the dopplegangers and the Great Doppleganger
War that took place there a few months back, where someone got booted out of
the room for some reason, and, when he came back, his name from before was
still there, so he was there twice. Someone said it was his doppleganger,
which touched off all the craziness that night, with everyone there becoming
a doppleganger, on purpose... Well, now there was an amazing addendum to
that night... The room was acting weird all that night, I mean the room
itself, not the people, we are always weird in there. :) And, it was
particularly that way for one person there, Ee Ling. It kept booting her
out, and, every time she would come back, all her previous names would still
be there. She now holds the all time doppleganger record so far. As, by the
time she was through, it was her and FIVE dopplegangers! She gallantly tried
to find a new name for each one, but, by the end, just named the last one,
Six. She still did much better than I would have done, though, coming up
with five names, I have enough trouble with one! So, congratulations Ee
Ling! You are currently the all time doppleganger champ! Wear your title
with pride! I wasn't even aware that one person could have so many
dopplegangers there! Tune in this week for whatever may happen...

Notes from Azkath...

Ok, so thank you to everyone who came out for the Xtreme Soundscapes III
Show. All the DVD's went, and I hope everyone enjoys them. This week, on the
Last Exit, we may have Armageddon Monks up, If not, then probably next week.
I do believe we will have a visit from Crow of The Pushrods.. Other than
that, maybe we will find out what happened to Just Joe...

Next XS Show is the Post Release Show, which is also the 1 Year anniversary
show of XS... and will be the last show that Todd (drummer) will play with
Black Labeled. Thusfar Black Labeled and Missing Marcus are confirmed.
Perhaps 137 and Armageddon Monks. Maybe another band as well... Anyway,
that show will be at Castaways on Sunday, November 20th...

On the Metallic Onslaught, I hear that Lance and Rick will be going to see a
show, although I do not remember what one. Rick usually goes to shows he
says he is, but not always. Lance rarely goes to shows he says he will, so
maybe we should start a betting pool on who will be there? I do know that
Jeff/Thor will be there. And they have sworn an oath to beat Lance severely
if he shows up. Apparently they will explain why on the air, and it has
something to do with Pepe... Who the hell knows what goes through their
heads... um... Head?

VADER TO INVADE US. EP SET FOR RELEASE EARLY 2006

Poland's Vader are set to invade the US on a headline tour that will precede
the release of their new ep, The Art of War. Beginning October 31, the
equal part US and Canadian tour will be the band's first headline
performance in many years; their most recent visit as direct support for
Kreator earlier this year.

With an extensive recording history that dates back to 1993, Vader are one
of metal's most prolific and active bands. Averaging 150-plus shows a year,
the band is a favorite of both fans and critics world over. Newly signed to
Sweden's Regain Records (US partnership with Candlelight Records), Vader
recorded their new MCD The Art of War at Hertz Studio. Featuring four new
songs and a video, the recording will set up the next full-length album that
the band plan to start recording in early 2006.
