** Recaps from Fire Eater Wizard **
Wanted to add something...
On The Metallic Onslaught:
Rick and Lance were not there, Rick was attending a concert. Lance's
whereabouts were unknown. Rick's did an interview live with the band Bleed
The Sky from the club. Jeffie and Thor were back. They said that they had
figured out that the way to keep Pepe' away was to kick Lance's ass, since
Pepe REALLY liked Lance. However, Lance being absent kinda put a damper on
that plan, at least for that night. There was a groupie there. Thor kept
getting upset with her because she said she liked Lance. Thor kept trying to
kill the groupie because she kept insisting that she liked Lance...
On The Last Exit For The Lost:
For about the first half of the night, the band Armageddon Monks were there.
http://www.myspace.com/amonks They were interviewed, the tracks from their
CD were played, and they gave their answers to those theinsanedomain.com
questions. They got hugged by Just Joe when his Hugging Music played. While
he was hugging them, he also shocked some of them, as he had a trick pen
that gives shocks. For the second half of the night, Gorgar, Rub McGroin,
and Crow were there. Now, although last week was good for Just Joe, with his
finally getting revenge on Mark of Divinity Destroyed, and making him bleed
a lot, this night turned out to be not so good for Just Joe. In fact, it
went pretty badly for him. First Azkath got the shock pen from him and used
it on him. A lot. All over his body. Ears, nose, forehead, eyes, armpit,
belly, um, well, nether regions, and, with the aid of Rub, Crow, and Gorgar,
got his shoes off, and shocked the soles of his feet. There was much
screaming and pleading. Just Joe tried to hide, and, thus, was under a chair
near Azkath. That wasn't good for him either. That allowed Azkath to jump
off the chair onto him, and brutally beat him down and shock him some more
as well. Then Azkath, Rub, Crow, and Gorgar all brutally beat Just Joe down.
During this brawl, Rub kicked Just Joe right in the face, "accidentally", of
course, and Azkath splashed him (the wrestling move) several times. Then
they asked him where his shock pen was. They told him they had hidden it for
him, like they had done with his shiny rock. They would tell him that Crow
had it. He would try to take it from Crow, and get beaten down. Then they'd
say that, no, Rub had it. Just Joe would then get beaten down by Rub. Then
the process would be repeated, with them telling him that, no, Gorgar had
it. By the end of the night, Just Joe was in pretty bad shape, still moving,
but, just barely, and Gorgar was over him with the shock pen shocking him
with it, saying that he was trying to revive him, and restart his heart, of
course, that's why he was doing it. You would think Just Joe would know
better than to bring something like that there, that it might likely be used
against him, but, I guess not. The feature artist to end out the show was
Chastain. And, I would like to correct something from last weeks recap... I
said then that there were a ton of people and bands there, but that I
thought I had named everyone. Unfortunately, as I feared I might do, due to
the sheer number of people there, I left someone out. Tim, formerly of
Victory Records was also there, and I neglected to name him then, so now
wish to correct my mistake, and record that he, along with everyone else in
the world, was present that night. I'm so sorry Tim! :) I didn't mean to
forget you! Please forgive me! :) And, this weeks show will be seven
hours, as it is the night the clocks are set back...
********************************************************
Notes from Azkath...
Metallic Onslaught questions... Will Jeffie and THOR be there, or will it
be Pepe' again? Will Lance muster up the courage to show up this week? Will
Rick recover from the plane crash that he was not in? Will Joe get down from
the tree? Who will save him? Who?
Last Exit questions... If we send Just Joe out covered in CD's like armor,
what will happen to him? Will there be another riot? Will a car's headlights
reflect badly off him causing the driver to lose control and crash into him?
Will it be a signal to an alien race to attack? And will the show this week
be a Tribute to the Past show? Will it be scary? It is 7 hours long? No,
really, that's not a question. Do you think Hallow's Eve is a fitting
feature artist for the end of the night? Who will show up? Gorgar, and
maybe, just maybe, his offspring? And will she enjoy beating Just Joe?
Yes, all these questions may or may not be answered this weeked. Tune in and
find out. I did update the website a bit. There are new character pages,
after a fashion anyways. Where applicable they are now linked to everyone's
MySpace profile, so that way they can stay updated, and somewhat accurate.
The pages now also work with Netscape / Firefox / etc. I didn't know they
didn't, but now that I know, they do. Sorry about that.
Also changed the line-up for the XS III Post Release Show, it is now
Armageddon Monks, Missing Marcus, The Pushrods, and Black Labeled. This will
also be Todd's last show with Black Labeled.
Also, on the Xtreme Soundscapes part of the webpage, there is a trailer for
XSIII. If you want a copy, let me know or come to the post release show...

From Blabbermouth:
NIGHTWISH mainman Tuomas Holopainen (keyboards) has issued the following
"open letter" to the group's singer, Tarja Turunen:
"Dear Tarja,
"It's time to choose whether the story of NIGHTWISH ends here or whether it
will still continue an undetermined period of time. We've been working with
this creation for 9 years and we are not ready to give up yet. NIGHTWISH is
a way of life, something to live for, and we're certain we can't let it go.
"Equally certain is the fact that we cannot go on with you and Marcelo any
longer. During the last year something sad happened, which I've been going
over in my head every single day, morning and night. Your attitude and
behavior don't go with NIGHTWISH anymore. There are characteristics I would
never have believed to see in my old dear friend. People who don't talk with
each other for a year do not belong in the same band.
"We are involved in an industry where the business side of things is a
necessary evil and something to worry about all the time. We are also a band
which has always done music from the heart, because of friendship and the
music itself. The mental satisfaction should always be more important than
money! Nightwish is a band, it's an emotion.
"To you, unfortunately, business, money, and things that have nothing to do
with those emotions have become much more important. You feel that you have
sacrificed yourself and your musical career for NIGHTWISH, rather than
thinking what it has given to you. This attitude was clearly shown to me in
the two things you said to me in an airplane in Toronto: 'I don't need
NIGHTWISH anymore,' and 'Remember, Tuomas, that I could leave this band at
any time, giving you only one day's warning in advance.'
"I can't simply write any more songs for you to sing.
"You have said yourself that you are merely a 'guest musician' in NIGHTWISH.
Now that visit ends and we will continue NIGHTWISH with a new female
vocalist. We're sure this is an equally big relief to you as it is for us.
We have all been feeling bad long enough.
"You told us that no matter what, the next NIGHTWISH album will be your last
one. However, the rest of us want to continue as long as the fire burns. So
there's no sense in doing that next album with you, either.
"The four of us have been going over this situation countless times and we
have realized that this is the thing we want to do in life. It's all we can
do. In December 2004, in Germany, you said that you will never tour again
for more than two weeks at a time. You also said that we can forget about
U.S. and Australia because the fees and the sizes of venues are too small.
"In interviews I've mentioned that if Tarja leaves, that would be the end of
the band. I understand that people will think this way. NIGHTWISH is,
however, a scenery of my soul and I'm not ready to let go because of one
person. A person who wants to focus her creativity to somewhere else, a
person whose values don't match mine.
"We were never bothered by the fact that you didn't participate in
writing/arranging songs, you never in 9 years came to rehearse the songs
with us before going to the studio. Not the fact that while on tour you
always wanted to fly, separately from us with your husband. Not the fact
that you are an undisputable front image of the band. We accepted and felt
OK about everything except greed, underestimating the fans, and breaking
promises. It was agreed by the five of us that NIGHTWISH would be the
priority in everything that we do during 2004-2005. Still so many things
were more important to you. The ultimate example being the already sold-out
show in Oslo, which you wanted to cancel because you needed to rehearse for
your solo concerts, meet frieds and go to the movies. Those were the words
Marcelo used in an e-mail explaining the cancellation. This being just one
example of so many. I couldn't think of a worse way of being selfish and
dismissing our fans.
"NIGHTWISH is a way of life and a job with many obligations. To each other
and to the fans. With you we can't take care of those duties anymore.
"Deep within we don't know which one of you drove us to this point. Somehow
Marcelo has changed you from the lovely girl you were into a diva, who
doesn't think or act the way she used to. You are too sure of your
irreplaceableness and status.
"It's obvious that you blame your stress and misery on us four. And you
think we don't respect or listen to you. Believe us; We have always had the
uppermost respect towards you as a wonderful vocalist and as a friend. And
very often during the past couple of years the plans were made according to
your decisions only. You were always the only one who wanted more money from
the shows.
"This 'compensation and more money from everything' attitude is the fact
that we are most disappointed of!
"We wish that from now on you will listen to your heart instead of Marcelo.
Cultural differences combined with greed, opportunism and love is a
dangerous combination. Do not wither yourself.
"This decision is not something we are especially proud of but you gave us
no choice. The gap between us is too wide. And the decision is made by us
four unanimously. We are beyond the point where things could be settled by
talking.
"All the best for your life and career, Tuomas."
NIGHTWISH recorded the final show of their "Once" world tour on Friday
(Oct. 21) at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki for an upcoming CD/DVD,
entitled "End of an Era". "As you can imagine, the atmosphere in the arena
was wild but also quite blue," the band write on their web site. "This was
the ending for a one and a half year lasting 'Once' world Tour. NIGHTWISH
wishes to thank everybody for an unbelievable tour. Unfortunately, the title
'End of an Era' also holds a deeper meaning.

Legendary heavy metal vocalist Ronnie James Dio has revealed that he will
once again be collaborating with BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi.
"At this particular point — if all doesn't fall through, and I doubt that it
will — Tony Iommi and I are going to write a couple of tracks together for a
project that I think is called 'Black Sabbath – The Dio Years'," Dio said.
"So that'll be two unreleased tracks which I'm sure will be interesting to
old SABBATH fans, and maybe [even] the new SABBATH fans."
Dio recorded a total of three studio albums with BLACK SABBATH — 1980's
"Heaven and Hell", 1981's "Mob Rules" and 1992's "Dehumanizer" — in addition
to appearing on the classic live album "Live Evil" in 1983

A rock star who spent a fortune to become a Lord of the Manor in Wales has
been declared bankrupt.
Uli Jon Roth, former lead guitarist with the SCORPIONS, is believed to owe
tens of thousands of pounds.
Roth, 54, paid £250,000 (approx. $450,000) for the historic Tan y Bwlch
Manor near Aberystwyth eight years ago — it is now likely to be worth around
half-a-million pounds. And he had ambitious musical plans for another Welsh
property.
But the German-born guitarist, who has played with bands such as DEEP
PURPLE, was dropped by his record company EMI and has sunk into financial
difficulties. He has been registered bankrupt at the Aberystwyth County
Court under his full name Ulrich Hans Joachim Anton Josef Roth.
